Chapter 193 - Attack on the Mortal Gate [2]

Catug, the Supreme Chaos elemental in the service of Chrunus, was in charge of making sure that gods who were sent to the mortal world died as quickly as possible. Yet they dared turn against him before they fulfilled the orders of the Great Creator Chrunus.

What was worse, they attacked his most holy form. The life of even lesser Chaos was worth infinitely more than any of the gods that were sent on a suicide mission. Their attacks had taken half of his life, although it did not take long to repair his most divine form.

The anger he felt could not be described; the world deserved to be sundered, the reality shattered, and existence purged.

Instantly, he unleashed his elemental form. His mists coalesced into the swirling storm of Chaos. He observed the pathetic so-called gods as they keeled over and breathed heavily due to exhaustion.

[Break Reality], He activated his skill. These pathetic worms would know what it means to face one created by Chrunus. He felt the reality break due to the sheer amount of Chaos seeping through it.

The cracks threatened to consume the gods, and yet in an instant. The beautiful cracks disappeared; instead, the filth of nature surrounded him. His skill failed, and he refused to answer his call again.

'Natura? No, she is far too weak for this.' His storm rumbled.

Streaks of silvery light dashed before his eyes, almost as powerful as him, yet not enough. His mists churned as he threw a [Gravity Orb] at the streaks, yet instead it hit a wall of water.

The chaotic energies dispersed into nothingness. However, he knew nothing could endure forever. The being that he sensed was more powerful than he was; however, he was a servant of Chrunus.

There was no being alive that could take him down. He needed to kill the gods and fulfill the orders of Chrunus. Yet in front of him, he saw the being that dared stand in his way. She was so ugly and repulsive that he wished to shroud her in the mists.

What else could he feel other than disgust when facing a being of Order? Physical appearance mattered not when one represented the false state of things. "Being of Order, Fall before me so that I may fulfill the will of Chrunus!"

Yet like all beings, she could not understand; instead, she snapped her fingers, and he felt himself being wrapped by tendrils of water. Yet that water was made of order itself, no, it was something else.

It was far too powerful to be a dull order.

He raised his hands of storm and threw an avalanche of Chaos at the entity.

[Supreme Mantle of Chaos]! As soon as his storm connected to the Entity, he felt his very essence burn away. Yet she received no damage.

Instead, a bubble of water that he had struck shuddered and then exploded. In an instant, he felt himself get pierced by infinite tendrils of water. He screamed in agony, despite not feeling pain.

"Impossible!" [Gravity Orb], [Break Reality], [Dark Reflection].

A black hole struck the woman; however, [Break Reality] failed due to the presence of the disgusting gardens.

In a moment, his form changed and shifted; he became smaller, much like the woman in front of him. However, instead of gaining darker skin and long, radiant hair, he morphed into a dark version of the Angel.

His massive form was a crutch that the woman used to strike him at many spots.

"Thou art a larger fool than I thought..." The woman spoke in a mocking tone.

Instantly, he felt himself get enveloped in a flower of water. It squeezed and drained him of power.

However, the woman did not stop; she was enveloped by blinding light and then morphed into a being of three heads.

In that very moment, he felt powerless. Despite being one of the most powerful soldiers of Chrunus, he felt afraid.

Not only afraid, but he felt terrified. His mists churned and twisted; they searched for a way to escape the watery flower. Yet he was trapped. His [Dark Reflection] granted him a physical body that would allow him to inflict heavy damage.

Yet, it was now his prison.

The entity spoke, its 3 heads twisted in unison. "You dare... intrude on... father's domain..."

This being was never supposed to exist; it was not a construct of order. It felt like it, but it was anything but order.

The Order that came after Chaos was weak, and would crumple under enough influence of Chaos, yet the force that he found himself in front of was something far... far older.

He did not face Order; he faced the Spark that birthed all of existence. Chrunus, Iguva... gods... they were all born of this strange order.

It felt wrong to call it an order. It was something that had no name he could think of; it was the Light.

Yet despite the helplessness, he channeled everything he had in one final [Break Reality]. The flower held strong for a while; however, soon it even cracked. He canceled his [Dark Reflection].

As soon as the crack in reality showed, he slipped in. His gaseous form easily bypassed the physical barriers.

His [Break Reality] failed once again. However, it provided him with a crack that was just big enough to slip past and get behind the Three-Headed beast.

[Black Hole], [Invert Gravity]. A massive lightless orb appeared in his hand, the light bent, and gravity ceased to exist.

Unlike [Break Reality], which was composed of elements of chaos, the [Black Hole] was purely space and gravity.

Thus, the wretched water of light would not affect it as badly, yet as the swirling orb of darkness sucked in the rivers of Eden it started weakening.

"Once again, thou underestimateth the power of Father's Supreme Angel!" In a moment, the black hole was surrounded by the most holy water. It's tendrils moved around it, while it consumed much of the water it still weakened.

It shuddered and fought for its existence. Then, with but a whimper, it dissipated.

He stared at his own gaseous body in disbelief, yet the 3 headed monstrosity was not done. [Great Flood].

Instantly, he was submerged in the abyssal depths of holy water. His body was eaten by it's forces, and Chaos that was his essence was erased.

"Forgive me... Chrunus..."
