Chapter 191 - Panic

Like all gods, Chrunus had sensed the invasion of the forces of Order. Yet despite feeling like Order, he knew it was far more potent and bright. However, no matter what it was, it would fall.

He observed through his viewing crystal, and what he saw shocked him. The sheer ease the beings of Order dispatched his Supreme Chaos elementals terrified him, yet he did not panic. After all, only 2 of those beings were in his realm, while others were pathetic in comparison.

His view switched to an army of silver that was routing the lesser elementals like they were livestock, similar to lesser gods. It was unforgivable. In an instant, he established a connection to the Supreme Chaos, Edjzovg.

[Destroy attacking force at once!]

Instantly, the elemental headed toward the battlefield. While there were many such armies, it did not matter; he would direct Edjzovg to destroy them all one by one. While he had access to dozens of Supreme Chaos elementals, he was unwilling to send many of his most powerful.

After all, he was not so foolish as to reveal what he was capable of. At most, Edjzovg alone would be enough to deal with anything stupid enough to invade his realm. Once the elemental appeared and attacked the foolish invader, he sensed the appearance of the 3rd entity of Order.

"How?!" His shout reverberated through the Obsidian Palace. Even the elementals that served him shook in fear, yet unlike gods, they knew they would not be killed by their father. Chrunus loved them, and in turn, they loved him.

If it were only two of those beings, he would not have been worried; at worst, he would have personally head out and remove them from existence, yet the sudden appearance of a new one was rather alarming.

'How did it appear...' He stared at the crystal as the being not only killed his Elemental, but it killed it by turning most of it into an Elemental of Order. It was inconceivable and absolutely unforgivable.

'This is Fortuna's doing. That damned bitch! I took her too lightly.' He gritted his teeth, "No matter, I will kill her myself!" He snapped back to the greater elemental that served as his attendant, "What about the suicide invasion I sent to the mortal world?"

"They are ready for Order, My lord!"

"Good, there is a better way to get rid of them. Force them to invade that Gate! However, tell the Supreme Elemental to take care. He should only act if the gods survive or if his power is needed to destroy the gate." The image in the crystal switched to the gate in the mortal world. He could track Fortuna's handiwork anywhere, and this reeked of it.

It was truly unnecessary to destroy the gate; however, that Entity appeared so suddenly that the only option was the passage opened by Fortuna. If he had closed it, he would have personally purged all of the Supreme entities that invaded his most holy realm.

In an instant, the greater elemental dissipated. Yet Chrunus could not shake a sense of unease. He was the most powerful being in existence; he was the Chosen of Chaos, yet he felt anxious.

It was the first time ever since the Chaos blessed him that he sensed any worry. In the beginning, he thought it was an invasion by Iguva; however, when he spied on his units with his new crystal, he was still in his so-called utopic empire.

'Such pathetic upstart he is, he has equal power to me, yet he dares believe that the ruler should be both loved and feared.' Chrunus wanted to puke at the mere thought. After all only way to properly rule is through fear and domination.

What was even worse was that he had taken up the name of the Grand Emperor; it was a rather lofty title for a mere upstart that dared to gain the favor of the wretched Order. In a way, he and Iguva were two sides of the same coin.

The order and chaos, the light and darkness. They were opposing yet similar. However, when he stared at the entities that invaded his realm. He felt as if his eyes would burn. It was not an order he was familiar with.

It was something even worse. He could not understand what it was if not Iguva's Order. Although he had hoped to obtain some information from elementals that died, they never returned to him.

'This means only one thing.' The energy that these beings of order radiated was no order at all but something capable of completely eradicating chaos to its very essence. It scared him. Celara at her peak was nothing compared to even a single one of the beings he observed.

It truly was nothing like dull golden order. Mists swirled around Chrunus; it condensed and churned as it formed a perfect armor of obsidian. A dark billowing cloak formed around his shoulders, and a massive war axe materialized in his hand.

His head was covered by a greathelm with eye slits that radiated sickly yellow, much like the eyes of Chrunus, yet it gave the illusion of emptiness. He could not keep throwing his loyal creations and servants against the beings of alien order.

Chrunus himself would need to step in and crush the invasion. 'Fortunately, most of the gods will die in the mortal world.' Ha cackle escaped his lips, "I haven't put down a rebellion in so long."

"Forces of Chaos! It is time to make these fools pay for invading the most holy realm of chalk! They will learn that the order will always crumble before Chaos!" Instantly, his voice caused the elementals that gathered and hid around his palace to erupt from the ground.

The tide of Chaos and storm churned and thrashed. It was as if an ocean had been created with the mere order of Chrunus. For who else but God of Chaos could command the realm to change so quickly?

Those who dared to invade would learn to fear him as the gods did.
