For example, he could collect the corpse of a fierce beast or a human as the stand-in, and use the power of the Substitute Death Talent to transform the corpse into a substitute.
Then he would hide the substitute death clone somewhere. If Ryan were killed out in the world, he could activate the Substitute Death Talent in an instant, his body and the substitute death clone would swap places, and the clone would die in his stead.
Since the substitute clone was identical to the main body, so real it could pass for the genuine article, the enemy would believe it was his real body as long as they didn't examine it carefully.
