Chapter 98
Leo was happily searching the forest for high-level beasts, but unfortunately, the number of high-level beasts in this area was getting smaller and smaller, and they were hard to find.
As for places farther afield, it didn't dare to go.
Its instincts told it that those were not places it belonged.
As a fierce beast, it knew that the Little Cedar Forest had extremely strict hierarchical rules. Each area was occupied by a high-level fierce beast, and back when it was a medium-level fierce beast, it had also had its own territory.
Once, when it was an intermediate-level fierce beast, several high-level fierce beasts had tried to subdue its group, but they had all been defeated by it.
That was why, despite being only a mid-level fierce beast, it had occupied a small area and become a small landlord.
However, that was in the past. Now it could easily hunt down a high-level beast and was practically invincible in this area.
