Zetch leaned forward, frowning.
"What do you mean they aren't dreams?"
Frost crossed his arms, his expression darker now.
"All of us here who bear the mark… we have no memory from before the age of nine, do we?"
Aletha's eyes widened.
"You're partially amnesiac too?"
"Yes. And so are the others."
Caden felt his heart start to race.
"How can you be so sure?"
Frost explained calmly:
"When I was brought here nine years ago, with nothing but a letter, the monastery's elders examined me thoroughly. They wanted to make sure I was safe… or not a threat. That's when they discovered something unusual: my memories from before I was nine are sealed by an extremely powerful spell. Impossible to break—at least back then. They tried, but failed. It's as if someone deliberately wanted us to know nothing. The letter only contained my name and a message: I had to be hidden. That's why I always wore those tunics and concealed my face."
Still shaken, Bella murmured:
"Then why reveal yourself tonight?"
Frost gave a faint smile, though his gaze remained serious.
"Because time is running out. We no longer have the luxury of waiting. We must stop this woman before she destroys everything."
Zetch narrowed his eyes, suspicious.
"But… we told you it was a woman because of Caden's dreams. Normally, you would've wanted proof, asked more questions… yet you accepted it so easily. Like you already knew."
Frost nodded slowly.
"That's because I did."
"What?!!!" Caden, Zetch, Aletha, and Bella exclaimed in unison.
Frost raised a hand to calm them.
"In addition to being a Zodiac Mage, my family possessed abilities of telepathy and telekinesis. When I fully unlocked my powers, part of my memory returned. My personal memories came back more clearly… but only fragments when it comes to the important ones—like our enemy, and the reason we were separated and scattered across the world. Like you, I'm still missing many pieces. But I know one thing: it's a woman. And she is extremely dangerous."
Aletha ran her hands over her face, exasperated.
"Ugh, you've got to be kidding me… This feels like some kind of treasure hunt full of riddles!"
Bella, ever optimistic, quickly smiled again and asked cheerfully:
"So, Frost, you don't mind if I speak to you casually?"
Frost returned her smile, more relaxed.
"Not at all… I'd actually prefer it."
"Great! And you said you're a Zodiac Mage, but you didn't tell us your sign."
With a wide smile, Frost rolled up his sleeve again and clearly showed his mark.
Bella's eyes widened.
"Oh! You're a Virgo!"
Zetch nodded, satisfied.
"Nice. That makes two Earth masters."
Frost stood up, suddenly more authoritative.
"That's great, but it's time to get some rest. Starting tomorrow, we'll set out to find the others."
Everyone froze in shock.
"What?!!!!!!"
