I wouldn't recommend reading this part yet. The story is meant to unfold naturally, and skipping this will help you stay fully immersed. I've written this as a reminder for those who have read far ahead and might have forgotten some details—myself included! The plot is quite complex and can be difficult to keep track of.
The Tree of Life is like the essence of a person. It is directly connected to the owner's heart, so it must be carefully protected. If the tree is damaged, the heart will explode, leading to instant death. Likewise, when a person dies, the Tree of Life withers completely. Normally, it appears on the left hand. Whenever a
The Tree of Life consists of five main components:
Roots: These represent the foundation of one's abilities. They can be nurtured and strengthened through various methods.
Elemental Branches: These represent the user's innate element. Activating skills, abilities, Lexecon, or other powers requires compatibility with a specific element.
Spirit Leaves: These represent the mind and soul. The more leaves one has, the more Lexecon can be activated. They also allow multiple power combinations, reduce cooldown time, improve focus, and let the user rearrange Lexecon slots.
Fruit of Potential: This represents ambition and future growth.
Trunk Shape and Size: This indicates mana capacity. If a Lexecon requires more mana than the tree can store, it cannot be used.
Mana is the essence left behind by the three primordial benevolent abstractions from ancient times, around 7,000 years ago. After the arrival of the first 100 Founders in the Demon Realm, one of them made a pact with "xe" one of the three primordial benevolent abstractions. As a result, later generations of humans who came to the Demon Realm gained power to fight demons.
Every human is born with only a small amount of mana. Without mana, an infant will die, since mana is like a vital organ.
However, living beings cannot use mana directly. It must first be processed through a Lexecon, which then activates the Lexecon's specific ability.
A Lexecon may be a living being, an animal, an object, or even the wind. It can emit many kinds of light. It can exist as a particle, a wave, or an abstraction. When eroded by sufficient mana, it can become part of the Tree of Life. Once contracted, it becomes an ally, a borrowed-use form. By sending mana into it, its special power is released.
However, it has a limited lifespan.
There are hundreds of different paths it can possess. It has 10 levels: most Level 1–5 Lexecon are concrete, while Levels 6–10 are abstract.
A Lexecon can change paths, but it cannot reverse its own nature.
Each Lexecon has a different color and wave frequency.
A Lexecon can change form in four ways:
1.Mutation – It can mutate through repeated use. Frequently used styles are strengthened, while neglected styles fade away.
2.Evolution – It gains a power similar to the original one but stronger. However, the original ability becomes weaker.
3.Corruption – If disturbed by an evil abstraction, it becomes an evil abstraction itself. All of its abilities disappear, leaving only an empty slot in the life grid that can do nothing. It must be removed and that slot purified.
4.Attainment – If this occurs, the Lexecon gains an additional ability, which is the opposite of the original one. However, the new ability cannot be stronger than the original.
A lexecon remains dormant until awakened by certain conditions, such as dodging an attack, touching an enemy, running, walking, closing one's eyes, being attacked from behind, and so on. If the awakening condition is met and time passes, there will be a short period called the "stunned phase." During this phase, the Lexecon can still be used, but it will soon return to dormancy and must be awakened again.
Lexecon orbit around the Tree of Life.
Each Lexecon has a size, such as 1 slot, 5 slots, or 10 slots. Each person has a different life-grid format. For example, some people have a 10×10 grid (100 slots). This limitation prevents the installation of overly powerful Lexecon due to space limits, mana power, casting speed, or mental endurance.
Lexecon are placed on this grid. The top row is labeled A–J, and the side column is labeled 1–10. For example, a Lexecon may be placed, for example: A-2^B-2.
The activation order depends on position: the closer a Lexecon is to the top-left corner, the earlier it must be activated.
For example, if you have three Lexecon:
1. activates when attacked
2. activates when dodging
3. activates when attacking
If the third Lexecon has lower priority than the first, then even if you are attacking, the third one will not activate until the first one's condition is met. In short, the system works step by step, starting from the top-left corner. Lexecon must be activated in order. This means that if you can guess the first few Lexecon your opponent has, you only need to prevent them from fulfilling those conditions. If Lexecon number 1 cannot be used, then number 2, 3, and the rest also cannot be used, even if their conditions are already satisfied.
Combination and Cancellation of Lexecon
-Lexecon can be combined if they are no more than 2 Lexecon apart or 5 grid spaces apart, and at least one of them has already been activated.
-Lexecon can be canceled when the user can no longer stop the ability manually, such as in a berserk mode that greatly increases physical power but causes madness. In that case, a preset counter-equation is used with an unactivated Lexecon of the opposite element, placed within the same distance rule.
Movement Types
Lexecon can move in three ways:
1. stationary
2. fixed movement
3. non-fixed movement
If it is type 2 or 3, space must be reserved in the life grid for its movement. If it collides with other Lexecon, both may be injured and could even die.
If a person is killed, they cannot gain anything from it. They can destroy all Lexecon with a single thought, but if they fail to destroy them in time and die, those Lexecon will float back to their original position for one round. If the second owner dies, the Lexecon will remain still and dissolve.
Another case is lending or giving a contracted Lexecon to another person. This is impossible unless the other person is a close blood relative, such as a sibling, cousin, or parent.
Power Ranking
Power levels can be identified by observing the Tree of Life.
They are divided into low, middle, and high ranks:
1. Blessed One
2. Lexark
3. Echo of Lexecon(Echo)
4. Lexbound
5. Inscribed
6. Carver
7. The Written
8. Follower of the Script
9. Born with Letters
These are obtained when someone's Tree of Life disintegrates. If compatible, they can be used to strengthen your own Tree of Life.
Since this is borrowed power, something must be paid even if a Lexecon is possessed but not used. It will demand something such as food, sand, soil, or blood. If it is Level 6 or higher, it will consume a primordial benevolent abstraction instead.
1.Debt Stalling: The payment owed to a Lexecon can be delayed, but only by repeatedly turning it on and off.
2.Reordering: This takes a long time, so Lexecon order cannot be changed during battle. However, if a Lexecon can move, the order can be adjusted based on its movement speed. This prevents the opponent from forcing you into conditions that stop you from using your other Lexecon, as mentioned earlier.
3.Devouring: You can use one Lexecon to devour another if their frequencies are similar. If successful, it will emit light and you will gain energy, which can be converted into mana.
4. And more
