The Bloodhorn Fortress had no ability to resist for long.
Kharos had brought six hundred Iron-Armored Bull Demons, the entirety of the Bloodbull Guards, and most of the Stone-Horned War Elephants to attack Noan. The soldiers remaining in the fortress were mostly Rank B troops and a number of aged Bull Demons in charge of guarding the resource stores.
When the thirty Meteor Warriors appeared outside the walls, the one in charge of the defenses still did not know that Kharos had died.
A Bull Demon wearing Rank A armor stood atop the wall, looked at Noan's army, and shouted: "This is the Bloodhorn Fortress! Lord Kharos is leading his army to wipe out a new Lord in the north. If you don't leave at once, when he returns…"
Noan tossed Kharos's battle-axe down before the gates.
The battle-axe had been cleaved apart by the Abyss Cube, and its owner's blood still remained upon its surface.
The Bull Demon on the wall immediately fell silent.
