Chapter 343 - 343: A Second Blossom?

The Weasley twins looked at each other, then put on their monocles from the left and right sides, and looked at each other again.

"Sometimes I really feel speechless… and for some reason I also kind of want to laugh," they said while staring at each other, barely holding it in.

"Mm-hmm. Probably because you feel speechless," Kasenhis commented.

"Then Professor, we're off."

"Go on. Come back when you feel like you've accumulated enough essentia," Kasenhis said as he sent them off.

"Alright!"

That day, Kasenhis had just finished teaching the fifth-years. He was about to slip away after class when four Gryffindor brats blocked his path.

"So? What happened?" Kasenhis asked, looking completely baffled at Harry and the others standing in the only path back to his office.

The four of them looked at each other. In the end, Ron and Neville pushed Harry forward at the same time. Harry stepped out awkwardly.

"Professor, um… well… do you think I have the talent to learn alchemy?"

The moment Harry said this, the other three all looked at him helplessly.

Kasenhis tilted his head. "Your grades are quite good."

"No, Professor, I mean… um… Neville learned runes and redstone circuits from you, Cedric learned about those mechanical arms from you, and George and Fred learned that mysterious subject from you. So I was wondering if I could learn some kind of magic from you as well…" Harry said, his face red and his words rushing out rapidly.

"Emmm…" Kasenhis looked at Harry's flushed face, then at the other three, whose deadpan expressions were almost perfectly synchronized. His instincts told him that what Harry actually wanted to say was definitely not this. Still, he shrugged and replied, "If I come across any new magic that suits you, I'll definitely teach it to you."

Harry instantly looked relieved and hurried away, practically dragging his friends along as he fled.

Standing where he was, Kasenhis still caught fragments of their fading conversation—something about "a small matter," "shouldn't," "trouble," and "embarrassing."

"What's going on?" he muttered, stroking his chin. If it were something serious, Harry knew how to weigh things and wouldn't keep quiet just because it was embarrassing…

And "troubling me"? If it were important, he would be asking for help immediately, not worrying about troubling him.

And then there was "embarrassing"… "a small matter"… At Harry's age, something he'd want to ask for help with, think was trivial, yet feel embarrassed about…

Harry had fallen in love!

Kasenhis reached his conclusion.

"Who could it be?" Kasenhis sat down on the sofa, replaying Harry's micro-expressions in his mind over and over. Before he could figure it out, he looked up, just as he was wondering whether Sherlock Holmes would scold him if he bothered him with something like this.

A figure appeared in front of him.

"Draco, what's wrong?"

"Professor, Gedir once used his parents to deceive you. So if another Slytherin came to you now with the same story, asking you to save his parents, what would you do?" Draco took a deep breath as he spoke, his voice trembling.

"Lead the way."

"Ah?" Draco looked at Kasenhis in surprise.

"Lead the way. Where are they?" Kasenhis said seriously.

"At my house… Malfoy Manor… the Dark Lord is there. He's having dinner with my father. They—"

Before Draco could finish speaking, Kasenhis had already set off.

He seemed to have been to Malfoy Manor once before, right? How many times exactly, he didn't remember, but an Ender teleport to that place was still easy enough.

With a soft buzz, Kasenhis appeared outside Malfoy Manor. He took out a bottle of Invisibility Potion, drank it in one gulp, and headed toward the castle.

It happened to be dinner time, so going to the dining hall couldn't be wrong.

Along the way were Death Eaters of all kinds, every one of them the sort of ruthless figure who could terrify an entire street just by showing up in public. Yet Kasenhis had no intention of making a move.

After all, he didn't know what state the Malfoy couple was in right now. If he caused a disturbance and Voldemort decided to kill them on the spot, that would be a disaster.

Soon, he reached the dining hall. He saw the Malfoy couple sitting stiffly on opposite sides of the long table, while Voldemort sat at the head.

Fortunately, Malfoy Manor seemed to have been unoccupied for a long time. The lighting was poor, and no one noticed the faint bubbles from the potion on his body.

At the moment, Voldemort was still speaking calmly with the Malfoy couple. Not far from the long table, in the entrance hall, a small mirror hung on the wall.

Kasenhis raised an eyebrow. It was a two-way mirror. Presumably Draco had learned about his parents' situation through that mirror.

But now, honestly speaking, Kasenhis felt a little regret.

It wasn't that he hadn't considered the possibility that Draco might be deceiving him again. Yet he had still come. If Draco really had lied to him, then at worst it would just be another round of trouble. No real loss.

And if Draco hadn't lied to him, then he would be saving two lives that might not be entirely innocent. Still, this season the Malfoy couple hadn't continued helping evil, so saving them would absolutely be a huge gain.

But he really hadn't expected Voldemort to be here as well…

Otherwise, he would have definitely called Dumbledore and Grindelwald over too, just to give Voldemort a little taste of Hogwarts staff teamwork.

And now it was too late to go back for them. At this moment he was doing his best to suppress the magical fluctuations around him. If he used Ender teleportation directly, Voldemort would definitely notice.

But if he walked out of the dining hall and tried to return to Hogwarts first, there might not be enough time either.

Who knew whether in those few minutes Voldemort might suddenly pull out his wand and give the Malfoy couple each a Killing Curse?

Logically speaking, sacrificing the Malfoy couple in exchange for Voldemort's location and the chance to eliminate him in one strike would be an enormous win for Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and even Gryffindor.

Unfortunately, Kasenhis was a Hufflepuff.

The next moment, he slowly walked behind Mr. Malfoy. An Ender field instantly enveloped Mr. Malfoy, part of the long table in front of him, and Mrs. Malfoy as well. With a buzzing sound, they were directly teleported back to Hogwarts—to Kasenhis's office.

Voldemort looked at the long table that had suddenly been cut in half, then at the Malfoy couple who had vanished.

Slowly, he stood up, his face filled with anger as he stared at Kasenhis, who had just revealed himself after taking a sip of milk.
