Chapter 157 - The Crown Is Waiting

[Coach Wilson continued and pushed Lefah onto the wall and said to his ears] "Let me tell you something, kid. I had no option to sign you and your brother to the team, and you also have no option but to do as I told you so. Why don't you let a hero come from you? I mean, forget about Henry and you could also be the high school choice someday..."

[Lefah sighed and found it difficult to get what Coach Wilson was trying to say and sounded confused] "Hey, what do you mean, Coach?"

[Coach Wilson continued, pointing his index finger at Lefah's chest and using his words, pushing him up and down as if he was the captain of the high school football team] "Hmm, see, boy. Today's game is really different and very important game for me, and I can't sit back to lose it. Nothing like playing a draw game or even losing that game. We should forget they had last season's championships, we have to stop them today, understand?"

[Lefah sighed and still didn't get why Coach Wilson was putting the whole team's pressure on his shoulders] "Hmm, alright and understood, Coach. See, we all know this is going to be a difficult game. I got this, but don't count on me."

[Coach Wilson continued to Lefah] "One thing I have got to know about you, and I think you're not aware of it. Your determination, your ability to fight with your lower strength, and your power to control make you different from the players and that will always make me count on you. See, I know what you are capable of and players like you never lose it but always win. I mean, nobody competes with people like you for a crown, that makes you genius among them...."

[Lefah sighed and didn't say a word to Coach Wilson and kept listening to his words.]

"Come on, say something, kid. You know, I can't promise you either, but it is clear that after this game, you can become the team captain since you have been consistently unbeaten and the best player in the games played. This game could change the heads mind to choose a new leader of the high school football team. So, what are you waiting for? Look at my face, kid, we all depend on you and always counting on you. Please, don't disappoint me, kid." [Coach Wilson continued to Lefah]

[Lefah sighed and hugged Coach Wilson very deeply and kissed him on his cheeks and walked back to join the players in the dressing room.]

[Door opens and closes]

[Coach Theodore appeared to Coach Wilson immediately when Lefah walked away into the dressing room] "Hey, come on, Coach Wilson. That's alright, and I was right here, and I heard everything you said to Lefah. That was such a fantastic talk as a coach. Just allow him, no more words and I really trust Lefah. Those hugs and the kisses say a lot, so let's hope him flying in this game."

[Coach Wilson sighed] "Okay and thank you so much for your words. That was a bit confusing why he left without saying a word...."

[Coach Theodore continued to Coach Wilson] "That kiss was what he had to say. So, let's count on him. Um, I think it's time to play, so let's join the players now, please...."

[Coach Wilson smiled and continued immediately when Coach Theodore finished talking] "Okay, Coach Theodore...."

[Both coaches giggled, hugged and shook hands and joined the players in the dressing room.]

[Back on the pitch. The referee loudly blew the whistle immediately as Henry was accidentally pushed off the ground and a spit of blood was coming out of his mouth and his nose. This made Henry very angry and upset. Henry had his armor and threw it at the opposing player, who pushed him off the ground to get such an injury. Henry wanted to fight because this wasn't the first time he had been pushed off the ground to injury in this game against the Wichita North High football team. The players rushed around and stopped the fight as the medical team also rushed in to check on him for them to continue the match. After the medical team checked on Henry, all the players walked back to their positions. That was a difficult game to play, but both teams were able to have some touchdowns in the 30 minutes played so far. The Rigby High football team were leading 16 touchdowns to 13 touchdowns against the Wichita North High football team.]

[The referee loudly blows the whistle to set the ball rolling again after the fight.]

[Whistle blows] ------- "Attack!"

[They continued playing and giving some touchdowns and defending a lot of touchdowns at the same time. The people from Rigby and the Western City were very happy and surprised about how the game was going. The smiles on their coaches' lips and the players say it all about their expectations in this game. The coaches were prouder of their players and the strong team they had knocked up together. The team captain, Henry, wasn't happy and feeling some kind of uncomfortable on the pitch since he was pushed off the ground anytime he had the ball from his teammates to run through his walls. The referee loudly blows the whistle to end the first half.]

[The players run off the pitch to have some rest to come back and play the remaining minutes left at the scheduled time of play.]

[The announcer's voice continues] "Hello, my family and friends. The first half has come to an end, and the players are going to have some rest to return and play the remaining minutes. The Rigby High football team were able to beat the Wichita North High football team in the first half by 16 and 13 touchdowns. That was such a difficult game for both high schools, but Rigby High were able to defend their name at home and the skills of one young man coming from the Western City, Lefah Hart, and his brother, Garriso Garcia Lopez, for being his brother's sidekick to play such an excellent game. Thanks should go to his teammates for supporting his touchdowns. This is such a great real rap to their city and the Rigby High School. Thank you..."
