Sofia continued and said, "No, no, no, I don't want to have breakfast now, you can join your family if you want to, Lefah..."
"Whoa, come on, since I didn't leave you on the street last night, I can't leave you alone in the kitchen, so let's have some coffee here. What do you think?"
[Both giggles...]
[Lefah served Sofia a cup of coffee immediately as she refuses to have breakfast with the Hart family at the dining table.]
"See, this is the sweetest coffee by my mama. Uh, you know, we have more coffee in this house because my sweet mother works as a barista in this city." [Lefah continued to Sofia]
"Wow, that's great...." [Sofia giggles at Lefah]
[Lefah smiles back at Sofia and handed a cup of coffee to her] "Here we go, Sofia, I know you will love it...."
"Hey, thanks a lot, Lefah...."
"Wow, this really test good, and I have never had such a sweet coffee before in my life."
"Whoa, that one should go to my ma'am because she made this sweet coffee...."
"Um, okay. Thanks to your mom..." [Sofia continued immediately to Lefah]
[Both giggles...]
"Hey, this reminds me. Um, you know, we had a very long chat last night, but you didn't mention your parents to us, and you even escaped all the questions about your mom and your family. Hey, why?"
"That's nothing and I didn't want to talk about my mom. I never like to talk about my parents. Like, my driver and our house manager. Hey, do you know how it feels when your parents more especially your mom, keep judging you anytime you're wrong? Like disturbing all day and night?" [Sofia continued to Lefah]
"This is not only your mama, Sofia. Our ma'am too is sometimes like that, and you experienced it last night. But, you know, I think our parents know the best for us and I know that's why they keep jumping to conclusions always. You feel me?"
"Hmm, maybe yeah. But to me, that's really crazy, and I think it shouldn't be done that way always. Young people also have their rights, but it never happens nowadays because our parents control our lives. Which is very pretty bad."
"Um, okay and I understand you, Sofia. You're right, but I think you should give them some time. I know your parents will understand you and start respecting your decision someday. Trust me..."
[Immediately when Lefah finished talking, they heard somebody knocking on the outside door. Garriso and Miss Anna were already in the living room having breakfast, so Garriso stands up to the door and open it for the person to come inside the living room.]
[Sofia continued immediately in the kitchen when chatting with Lefah] "Did you hear the knocking? That could be my mom...."
"Hey, that's too fast. I mean you just sent them message. Okay fine, I didn't tell you about our only sweet grandmother, Grandma Maya. She used to come around in the morning, that would be her..." [Lefah responded to Sofia]
"Wow, okay, so let's continue our chat then, Lefah..." [Sofia smiles at Lefah]
[Lefah continued immediately to Sofia] "Hey, are you in a hurry to leave home because of our ma'am?"
"Oh, not that really, Lefah. I just want the old smile of your mom towards you boys to come back, and I know she will. Since she doesn't want me here. I mean, a stranger...." [Sofia sighs]
"See, I got this, so, stop talking about Miss Anna. And I know you will surely love her immediately you get to know her more later. Very good person, trust me..."
"Oh, I see, and I can't wait to know more about the good mother of you brothers..."
[Both giggles.]
[In the living room. Garriso opened the door and that was Mrs. Madison, their high school principal who was knocking at the door early in the morning.]
[Door opens]
Garriso opened the door, smiles at Mrs. Madison and said, "Hey, Mrs. Madison, good to see you...."
[Mrs. Madison smiles back and responds immediately to Garriso on the door] "Hey, Garriso, this is astounding, right?"
"Yeah, oh, please come inside, Mrs. Madison..." [Garriso asked Mrs. Madison to get inside the living room]
[Door closes]
Garriso noticed Mrs. Madison's mood changed immediately when she entered the living room. So, Garriso smiles at Mrs. Madison and said, "Hey, are you good?"
"Yeah, I am, Garriso. Sofia said she's in Lefah and Garriso's apartment at Old Street and that's why I am here this morning..." [Mrs. Madison sighed and continued to Garriso]
[Garriso's facial experience changed immediately when Mrs. Madison said she was in because of Sofia, the stranger they came back home with her last night. Garriso couldn't say a word for minutes.]
"Uh..." [Garriso became speechless and surprised. Garriso started thinking about how Mrs. Madison got to know the stranger. I mean, Sofia was in their house and thinking about how Mrs. Madison was related to Sofia because Mrs. Madison had never mentioned Sofia to them ever since they met. Moreover, Garriso didn't even think of it that Mrs. Madison had a daughter called, Sofia. She always complained about her to them.]
"What's wrong with Sofia, Garriso? Hey, talk to me..." [Mrs. Madison continued immediately when Garriso couldn't say a word to her when she asked about her daughter and tears started running down her cheeks. All because she thought something bad had happened to her daughter, Sofia.]
"No, stop it, Mrs. Madison. Nothing is wrong with Sofia, and I am just surprised and speechless about how you got to know Sofia. Um, come on, she is fine. Sofia has been here with us since last night, and she's happy too, so stop crying, Mrs." [Garriso continued immediately to Mrs. Madison]
[Miss Anna continued from the dining table] "Who was knocking on the door, son?"
[Garriso didn't mind Miss Anna and said to Mrs. Madison] "Um, you know your way in this house, so what are you waiting for, Mrs.? Hey, go and meet your daughter. But before that, you have to clean your tears first and come down. Do you feel me?"
"Hmm, I have heard you, Garriso. Thanks...." [Mrs. Madison smiles and hugs Garriso]
[Immediately when they reached Miss Anna on the dining table, Miss Anna smiles at Mrs. Madison] "Hey, Mrs. Madison. Like I wasn't expecting such an early visit. Hope you're good, Madison?"
