Chapter 81 - Who Doesn't Know The Gangster

"Why but, Miss Anna. You have really done well to control the hard times and see them now, very handsome, excellent and amazing kids. Very proud of you, Anna...."

"Hmm, okay and thanks by the way, Madison..."

[Coach Wilson smiled at them and continued] "Wow, they really got some swagger, and I really like that just to protect themselves on the street...."

[Both giggle]

"Yeah, that swagger lifestyle will definitely come by Lefah's dad, Mr. Lucas. "Who doesn't know the gangster. " [Mrs. Madison smiled immediately when she finished talking, but she noticed Miss Anna wasn't OK. Immediately she mentioned Lefah's dad. Miss Anna's mood changed]

[Miss Anna sighs] "Hmmm...."

"Hey, I am sorry, my love and I didn't mean to say that, okay...? And besides, I even forgot about my promise to you some days ago. "Hey, I am sorry sweetie. But I think it's never bad to talk about Lefah's dad, no matter what. He's the father, but all the same, I'm sorry, my love..." [Mrs. Madison gets close to Miss Anna, and apologies for mentioning Lefah's dad in their chat because she promised Miss Anna not to talk about Lefah's dad again.]

"Hey, don't worry Mrs. Madison. "I understand, and I got this, okay?" [Miss Anna off her tears and smiled at Mrs. Madison]

[Nobody knows why, but Miss Anna always feels worried anytime people try to compare her son, Lefah's lifestyle, to his dad, Mr. Lucas Hart. Lefah and Garriso left some minutes ago in their bedroom. Nobody asked them to leave, and they wanted it, but they were still trying to figure out what Miss Anna was discussing with Mrs. Madison and Coach Wilson by now when they were playing their TV game in their bedroom]

"Yo, bro. "What do you think Miss Anna will be discussing with them all this while and is she going to say yes to whatever they're discussing, bro....?"

"I don't know, my man, and why don't we wait for them to finish whatever they're talking about." Hey, I really trust Miss Anna about this bro. She's always got our back."

"Yeah, you're right Lefah. Hey, let's play our game till they finish talking, my man. Miss Anna got this on our back, and she even made a promise to support our dream of playing...."

"Yeah, sure and I think that won't end ballshit! Yo, that old lady got our back, so let's continue our game, my man. Just forget about them now bro..."

"Um, Ok, Lefah. Hey, let's play..."

"Oh, I forgot, Yo, why don't we go and see Ava since we are free now..." [Lefah continues immediately]

"You know, that will be great but really stressful, my man. Let's do that later and I think Mr. Jeffrey will be home by now, and I don't want to meet him now, bro..."

"Whoo! Whoo! Hey, hold on there, my man. "Are you now trying to hide away from your own dad, yo, since when and I don't really get it, Garriso? "

"Since last Sunday, my man. Can you believe what my dad told us after church is still playing in my head like that fantasy story Miss Olivia told us in class the last time? That was absolutely ballshit! But I couldn't say a word because I really respect him as my dad...."

"Hey, last Sunday wasn't the first time Mr. Jee was asking us to quit football. He never likes it. That's why he keeps saying nothing good will come out of it... This reminds me of Coach Theodore's lifetime in the 90s. I mean, what his grandfather told him when he was young and playing football. Some government workers always want their kids to occupy them when they're no more, but they never think about the childlike..."

"If so, he shouldn't be saying those weak words to us if he doesn't like football. The pastor preached about saying weak words, and he was doing the same, so you see why I don't like him...?"

"Hmm, I understand, but no matter what, he's your dad, and you can't say because of him we can't go and see Ava, my man. I really missed my pretty girl."

"Hey, not only you, bro. I also missed her more like you do, Lefah, but Mr. Jeffrey is the problem now, and I was even thinking about asking Mrs. Vivi, why did my dad never like or support my dream instead of saying those weak words to me always...."

"Whoo! This is fucking for real, and I don't support this idea, my man. I wanted to ask Miss Anna more questions about my dad some years ago, and you didn't support me with that and see what you're asking for. Absolutely, this doesn't sound good. "He is your fucking dad, that's all."

"Actually, we all got fucking dads." [Garriso continues immediately and smiles at Lefah]

"Hey, yo, this is really crazy, but it sounds cool, so, when are we going to write about our fucking dad, Garriso Garcia Lopez?"

"Um, I don't know, and I think that will surely be some day, Lefah Hart...."

[Both laughs]

They always feel happy anytime both mention their full names just to have fun after conversation. A very crazy white man and black man as best friends [young brothers]. Both really look like their parents. I mean Lefah is just like his mother, Miss Anna, but swagger like his dad, "Black Hart De Gangster" and Garriso is also like his mother, Mrs. Vivian Miller Lopez but nothing like his father, Mr. Jeffrey Lopez.

Lefah and Garriso continue playing their TV game and having some fun. An hour later, they heard somebody knocking on their bedroom door. And that was exactly what they were waiting for, so Lefah ran fast to open the door, and it was Mrs. Madison, who was knocking on the door.

[Door opens]

"Hey, Mrs. Madison...." [Lefah smiled at her immediately he opened the door]

"Um, we are done, and we are leaving, and I also promise to knock before I leave home with Coach Wilson...." [Mrs. Madison giggles back at Lefah]

"So, are you coming in or, are you leaving home now Mrs. Madison?"

"Where is your brother and stop asking questions Lefah...."
