[Journey of the First Tama-Artist: Chapter 15]
Back when I was a kid, my grandmother used to tell me this folklore about the Hare and the Baboon; the two were nephew and uncle respectively.
In one unknown year, hunger struck the two for days, leaving them contemplating on how to get food. After an hour of walking around their cave, the Hare suggested:
"Uncle, Uncle Baboon! Why don't we cook each other?"
Now, Hare was crafty, and told his uncle that they would take turns to cook each other. Furthermore, he would be the one to be cooked for the first ten minutes; if he is not dead, by then, he would cook his uncle in the same pot.
Meanwhile, Baboon was a glutton, and with his strong fur and skin, he was confident to survive ten minutes in a boiling pot. Fooled by hunger, Baboon agreed, and started gathering fire wood; also, fetching water, while Hare counted.
