Shinji blinks his eyes hidden by his beige locks. He never thought Lucien would feel pity for Tsukino... well, anyone to be precise. In the past when he did kind things, he did it to cure his heart —with all the darkness that was around him that was his way to keep his sanity.
Halting his steps, Shinji sighs, and interlocks his hands behind his back.
—He is right, I went overboard in hurting her.
The young man feels infelicity hugging over his bones. However, does he have the right to be sad? In Tsukino's eyes, he has become a meaningless killer —worse than Lucien.
His weak gaze lands on the pink moon. He doesn't know whether what he did is right or wrong, but it's the best way out of the situation.
'Dernier will understand, right?'
Looking at his friend staring at the moon, he feels like he can understand him. On another level, he feels like Lucien wouldn't —he knows little about him.
Trying to imitate Lucien's aloof expression, he moves his lips slowly.
