Ten immediately runs toward Lucien, making clack sounds from the metal legs of his suit. As he arrives, he curls his hands into a fist, releasing water from his wrist; blocking the flames coming at them.
As steam shrouds the place, Lucien's compliment enters his ears.
"Nice work."
When he turns to the side, the man is in the steam. Inspite of him not seeing Lucien's position, he still yells:
"Lucy-san, the only way to kill it is to destroy all its heads at once! I'll see if there is something I can do!"
The pink-haired man feels his face cringe at the last sentence.
'Something, I can do? Sitting and praying for Lucy-san's victory is something I can do.'
Ten feels a ting of despondency wash over him. Soon, however, his lips curl into an errant smile, as he chuckles.
"There is something I can do... better try than do nothing."

Using the steam to his advantage, Lucy takes quiescent steps toward the King Cat. Since the beast showed him all its tricks, Lucy decided to advance a level in his strength, taking Ten's advice into account.
—I'll use all my physical power to take it down.
As a cold glint shines in his eyes, Silver Hammer grips his otsuchi with both hands. The moment he arrives close to the beast, he doesn't do anything fancy, and raises his hammer, until it forms a straight line with him.
In one swoop, he brings it down.
Bang!!
A loud echo rang in the air, clearing the smoke. Blood rushes over to Lucy's face tainting his coat. Although furious, he doesn't press on the issue, and glares at the King Cat recovering two of it's lost heads.
Swift like a jet, the profound beast shrinks its body, and attempts to flee. Nonetheless, Ten fires shots at it. Instantly, the cat is forced to enlarge its size, as it heals its lost limbs, destroyed by the bullets.
Roar!!
A thunderous roar escaped its mouth, trying to breathe out fire to burn Lucy about to attack its giant leg. However, Tento proves it to be useful, and lunches water to its face.
Bang!!!
Contemporaneously, Lucien shattered its front legs.
The beast is swift to shrink; luckily enough Ten misses it by a long shot, forcing him to yell, as he retreats back.
"Damn it!"
Lucy ignores the young man, ready to use the first move of his Martial Arts: [Hammer Flute: 24 sided star]. At the same time, he propells himself at his fastest speed toward the cat, making a swoosh in the air.
Despite the beast being quick to enlarge to its peak size, before it can do a thing, Lucy is in front of it, releasing a barrage of attacks.
The attacks aren't strong like the last one, yet the swiftness accounts for it. Furthermore, Lucy is swinging his hammer from all possible positions: side, bottom, top.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Not getting a chance to react, blood gushes out from the King Cat's body, prompting it tumble to the ground, as it roars in pain.
Unfortunately for Lucy, his 24 strikes only managed to make the body into broken bones and tone flesh. Also, the tiger head is still intact, as its sides drip blood to imaginable levels.
However, unlike that of humans, beasts' Tama are nearly active every moment, because of their survival instincts. Forthwith, the King Cat shrinks, while it recovers.
However, Ten expected such, and he shoots a barrage of bullets from his mechanical suit, finishing off the beast.
Pew!
As the last bullet sound echoes in the air, the beast returns to its original size, with a huge bullet curve in place of its heads. Moreover, blood is gushing out from its already recovered body like water from a pipe.
Satisfied, Lucien looks over to Tento, who is on his knees thanks to all the running he did.
"Good job. You killed a stage 3 profound beast."
