Chapter 675 - Fu Xuan: I Got Sent Flying!

Elysia shook her head, trying to clear it.

She felt completely dazed, not even sure if her soul had made the trip along with the Cosmic Juggernaut Train.

"Little Mobius? Little Mei? Are you still alive?"

"If you're alive, say something. I think this thing might have broken down."

"Noldrei? Where are you?"

At that moment, Noldrei had already pried open the train door and stepped out. He stared blankly at the vast plaza before him. He first looked up at a giant tree that soared into the clouds in the distance, then glanced down to survey the surrounding facilities.

'Judging by the height of the steps in the plaza's corridors, their body shape should be similar to that of Earthlings.'

'With this architectural style, does that mean these people still have knees?'

'They have jointed limbs, but why are they still like primitive Earthlings?'

His sharp eyes quickly spotted the people in the vicinity and their style of dress.

"Where in the world did I end up?"

"A Bubble Universe? Or Earth?"

"Or some other human civilization?"

Noldrei, who had initially intended to show his true face, immediately shelved the idea, preparing to continue using his old Kaslana visage.

He turned and shouted back, "You can come out. We can breathe normally out here. The environment is just like Earth's."

Noldrei had expected to find himself on some harsh, alien planet, not to have crashed directly into a human civilization somewhere in the universe.

"You bastard... you bastard..."

Senti crawled out of the doorway, gritting her teeth. Her head was still ringing from the impact.

Right after they landed, she had been the first to inspect the condition of the Cosmic Juggernaut Train.

Fortunately, its basic functions were intact; the train still retained its ability to traverse the Sea of Quanta and the Imaginary Tree.

The problem was that the coordinate system was clearly a delicate piece of equipment, and she would need a lot of time to repair it.

But Senti wasn't sure if the surrounding environment had what she needed to fabricate new parts. If she didn't know that Noldrei himself had the ability to convert organic matter into inorganic matter, she'd probably be feeling murderous right about now.

"Don't look so grim. Look, there are even people here. I glanced at the layout of the stars, and I'm pretty sure we're not on Earth anymore, but somewhere unknown in the universe."

Noldrei tried to placate Little Mobius. The last thing he wanted was for his mechanic to fly off the handle and give up on the job.

"Don't worry, once we get back... um, I'll get you something nice to eat? I don't really know what you like."

Senti shot the bastard a cold look and said through clenched teeth, "The only thing I'd like right now is to be far, far away from you!"

Elysia quickly scrambled out and said to her, "Don't be so angry, Little Mei. You should smile more. It's better for you. Let's go check out the situation. I think the way those people are looking at us is a little strange. Did we hit someone? Or... did we accidentally kill someone?"

Besides worrying about the Cosmic Juggernaut Train, Elysia was more concerned that they had caused a fatality in another civilization.

"No one died, don't worry."

Noldrei had been observing for a while and was quite certain they hadn't caused any deaths.

"We most likely crashed into someone else's sovereign territory. An issue involving sovereign security is a lot more troublesome than running over one or two people."

Since the inhabitants here were also human, it meant they likely used similar methods of governance.

And if their methods of governance were similar, that meant the corresponding concepts of authority could be applied here as well.

Noldrei watched as people armed with long spears methodically surrounded them.

'Why are they using melee weapons?'

After a brief moment of confusion, Noldrei's gaze fell on the person in the torn pink clothes.

He roughly estimated the force of their descent. After confirming that such an impact had merely shredded her clothes, he had a basic understanding of the combat capabilities of the people here.

'Is it because of some change in their physical structure?'

Elysia and Senti emerged, leaning on each other for support, feeling as if their bodies had been shaken to pieces.

Ely clearly remembered that back in the Previous Era, the Cosmic Juggernaut Train hadn't been this violent.

"Ely, it's another pink-haired girl, just like you."

"Huh? You're right... Do you speak any alien languages? I'm worried we won't be able to understand each other."

Elysia was quite concerned. The tiny planet of Earth had hundreds of languages, to say nothing of the vast universe.

The entire universe couldn't possibly have a unified language and writing system, could it?

As it turned out, in certain respects, these cosmic civilizations still maintained a basic sense of logic.

When the two sides opened their mouths to speak, neither could understand what the other was trying to say.

Any so-called communication was naturally out of the question.

After a long period of babbling, Noldrei had gradually, if vaguely, mastered the ability to communicate with the locals.

As someone who had delved deep into the study of primitive peoples, he had long known better than to carelessly hack into someone's brain to acquire their memories.

"You arrived here by accident?"

Fu Xuan was astonished by the outsider's linguistic aptitude. After just a few simple, tentative exchanges, the man had quickly grasped the linguistic logic of the Xianzhou.

Just a moment ago, she had been about to have someone inject Noldrei with a Synesthesia Beacon.

A Synesthesia Beacon, as its name implied, was a tool that could link the perceptions of two parties and translate them into an internal linguistic code.

A single injection was enough to quickly grasp the local language.

Noldrei didn't just communicate with words; he even specifically showed the locals footage of their departure from Earth.

Based on his observations, the natives here were still within the human paradigm.

They were most likely humans who had acquired enhanced abilities, similar to Herrschers, rather than an entirely new form of life.

"Our arrival here was indeed an accident."

He glanced down at the wrecked center of the array and asked, "This thing... is it easy to fix?"

If Noldrei hadn't brought it up, it would've been fine. But the moment he did, Fu Xuan almost had an aneurysm.

Her perfectly fine Matrix of Prescience had been wrecked by outsiders who showed absolutely no awareness of what they'd done.

The universe was full of vast, empty spaces devoid of life and civilization.

Yet these three just had to come crashing right in.

Just a moment ago, a disheveled Fu Xuan had barely managed to dodge the train's attack.

There were quite a few beings in the universe capable of bypassing the Xianzhou Luofu's defenses, and among them, another very famous one was also a train.

However, that train was completely different from the one before her. Fu Xuan had seen images of the trailblazing express belonging to Akivili, the Trailblaze.
