Chapter 649 - Kiana: I'm Giving the Otto Award to the Will of the Honkai!

Misteln often wondered how the Will of the Honkai would deal with the new world Noldrei had created.

But she never expected that the Will of the Honkai would decisively choose to dismantle the throne of Finality.

The Stigma and the Honkai—the two stemmed from the same source.

Both originated from the Imaginary Renormalization Group.

The Cocoon of Finality was, in effect, a blackened version of the Mother of Stigmas.

And who was the Mother of Stigmas? Did that even need to be spelled out?

Misteln and Prometheus exchanged a look, not daring to say the answer out loud.

"What's the situation?"

Kiana had been enjoying her time at home, but who would have thought she'd run into such a huge problem at a time like this.

"Not good!" Promi told Kiana the truth.

She didn't even try to hide it, clearly informing Kiana that the Cocoon of Finality was her predecessor.

Now, her predecessor had self-destructed, even integrating itself into all of humanity. The biggest trouble in the future was her, the Mother of Stigmas.

Kiana hadn't thought much of it at first.

It wasn't that big of a deal. It was just a shift from only Stigma organizations being qualified to be emperor to everyone potentially having the qualifications to be emperor.

The only prerequisite was that the person had to completely fuse with their Stigma.

"Huh?"

Kiana pondered for a moment. "So, you're saying if a person can fuse with their own Stigma's Will, it's a basic manifestation of integrating with their own Stigma? In that case, I can use the Kaslana Stigma Space to control the Stigma Wills of others and allow those Stigmas to be used by others through Stigma Battlesuits."

"Doesn't that mean that I've completed the centralization of Stigma organizations from a higher dimension by ruling over the Stigma Wills? Am I right?"

Misteln hadn't expected Kiana, after being educated by Noldrei, to be so sensitive to shifts in power. She looked at Prometheus with some surprise.

Prometheus just shook her head, signaling Misteln not to say anything unnecessary.

"So it was just a small thing like that!"

Kiana had figured out the specifics of the situation.

As the Mother of Stigmas, the Stigma Space was her root server, and the Stigma Wills were the terminals she distributed to others.

The Stigma Wills seen by people using Stigma Battlesuits were collected by Kiana through others' connections to the Stigma Space. She then reshaped them in the Kaslana way and transmitted them to the individuals using the battlesuits.

The users of Stigma Battlesuits would comprehend the power of the Stigma during use, thus awakening their own Stigmas.

But at this point, the Stigmas still couldn't be inherited!

This was where the Will of the Honkai had made its move. It had integrated the power of the Stigma into a person's material structure. But before that, the Will of the Honkai had left a prerequisite: these people had to maintain their primitive human form.

This meant that if these people wanted to use the power of the 'Imaginary Renormalization Group', they would inevitably have to go against the new society shaped by Noldrei.

If the Will of the Honkai truly had last words, it would probably say:

[However you used humanity against me, Noldrei, is how I'll use humanity against you after I'm dead. The tables have turned now!]

Kiana quickly figured out the difference.

She nodded seriously. "It's indeed a problem. If not handled well, it could bring me great danger. Although the danger is likely thousands of years away, for now, isn't it fine?!"

Kiana quickly switched back to a happy expression.

It scared Misteln into thinking she was truly heartless.

In reality, Kiana had simply thought it through. She didn't care if the current social order could last until then. If humanity could really follow the path of the Will of the Honkai, that would be fine too.

It felt like...

Kiana felt it was similar to the direction of collective cultivation in those novels.

A bunch of people becoming immortals... would they still be pursuing human appearances, comparing magical treasures, and vying for positions in the heavenly court?

Mulling it over, she felt that such a world might not be a good thing after all.

"It can be considered a good thing!" Kiana's eyes lit up as she thought of something.

'A good thing?'

Prometheus and Misteln exchanged a confused look, unsure how Kiana could see anything good in this.

"It is a good thing, but it has nothing to do with others. It has something to do with me."

Kiana could see at a glance that this would become a problem targeting her in the future.

She didn't care about this kind of trouble at all. The only reason she was willing to stand here wasn't because she liked it so much, but because she didn't want to disappoint her friends and family.

Kiana also knew Noldrei's pursuit. It was nothing more than wanting to create a new world different from the current society.

No matter how good the current new world looked, in Noldrei's eyes, this thing didn't count as his hope at all.

Now, although the Will of the Honkai was dead, its spirit lived on.

To help humanity break through the suffering of proliferationalism, the Will of the Honkai had exhausted its mind and body, bravely sacrificing itself, even 'sacrificing' itself to death.

"For the Will of the Honkai to have been able to do so much before it left, and even give us such a big surprise after it was gone... it's clear that it was a very intelligent existence. The former Schicksal Overseer, Otto, wasn't just spouting nonsense!"

As Kiana spoke, a sense of being moved began to sprout.

She patted Misteln's shoulder and said seriously, "I've decided to establish an Otto Award, and I want to give the Otto Award for Civilizational Progress to the deceased Will of the Honkai. Though it is dead, it is still active in the hearts of everyone in our human civilization."

Misteln's small mouth gaped open. For a moment, she couldn't tell where she was.

Had she crossed over into some unknown worldline?

Why give an award to the Will of the Honkai in Otto's name?! What benefit was there in this for her?

Of course there was a benefit for Kiana. Not only did she get a benefit, but it was the benefit she wanted most.

If the Will of the Honkai could continue to contribute to the cause of anti-proliferationalism, then the future Noldrei hoped for would arrive sooner. And then, Kiana could throw off the burden on her shoulders.

When that time came...

Kiana could already imagine that future.

She could take Noldrei wherever she wanted to go, play all over the universe, and even become the Galactic Baseball Couple!

Prometheus and Misteln were very worried.

They were beings who lived in the current new civilization. If a greater conflict and turmoil were to truly occur, it would be the worst thing for them.

"I'm practically a child of Schicksal (Fate). Even when I run into trouble, it can end up developing in a way that benefits me."

Kiana waved her hand grandly. "Inform Chen Tianwu that he's fine! Tell him to use this power well and not to disappoint His Majesty the Emperor's expectations!"
