Mia slept straight through until noon the next day.
If it hadn't been for the ringing phone, she probably would have slept even later.
Reluctantly, she reached out from under the covers, fumbled for the phone on the nightstand, answered it, and placed it to her ear, mumbling, "Hello..."
"Sweetie, I'm coming to see you now..."
"Oh..." It was Emily.
"Are you still sleeping?"
"Mm..."
"You lazy bum, how are you still sleeping at this hour... I'm almost at your place, so get up quickly, I need to talk to you about something!"
"Oh... mm..."
"I'll be there soon, don't make me wait."

Her foggy mind suddenly cleared, and she said, "You're coming to my place?"
