William's expression remained unchanged, his faint gaze fixed on a distant point, as if contemplating what Yasmine had said, yet it was impossible to tell what he was thinking.
"William, I've said what I needed to say. You don't seem to be in a good mood today, so I won't disturb you further... I'll continue to monitor Quentin as you instructed. Just have Carson send me the money." Yasmine packed up her briefcase, stood up, and walked out of the office.
William remained in a state of deep thought, occasionally sipping his wine.
Yasmine, in her four-inch heels, left the office with a resounding click of her footsteps. At the door, she suddenly turned back and looked at William, who was lost in thought. She said softly, "You haven't gone home yet because you and Mia had a fight?"
William didn't respond to Yasmine.
Yasmine stared at William for a few more seconds before leaving the office in her four-inch heels.
Outside the office, Yasmine ran into Carson.
