Mia planned to spend the next six months in peace.
Indeed, once she stopped clinging to William and stopped thinking about him, her days became leisurely and serene.
William was at the company during the day and only came home at night. When he was at home in the evening, she wouldn't initiate any conversation with him unless he spoke to her first. Of course, William rarely talked to her either, usually only when he couldn't find something.
So, almost every night, despite being in the same room, they each did their own thing.
When he had unfinished business, he would sit on the sofa in the room, frowning and deep in thought. At the same time, she usually leaned against the headboard, reading fashion magazines or romance novels.
She was usually the first to fall asleep. By the time she woke up in the morning, William had often already left for the company. And so, a new day began.
