The prolonged silence on the phone made William furrow his brows.
The hotel attendant respectfully said, "Mr. Franklin, the key card has been fixed. I apologize for the inconvenience."
William nodded to the attendant, who then left.
Yasmine watched the departing attendant and said to William in a seductive voice, "Mr. Franklin, your charm is indeed profound. That young attendant was blushing the whole time she looked at you."
William closed his phone at that moment and didn't respond to Yasmine's words.
Not hearing William's response, Yasmine turned her head and saw him deep in thought. Sitting on the sofa in her red flowing gown, she elegantly crossed her legs and asked with a smile, "What's wrong? Did you have an unpleasant chat with your wife?"
