Mike withdrew his psychic powers and gave a rough summary of the situation to Clark and the others.

"What kind of god needs human flesh and souls?" Gwen asked, her face twisted in disgust. "That definitely isn't a decent god!"

"What do we do now?" Raven looked at the police officers nearby, her expression equally filled with revulsion.

"I've already erased their memories of us; they won't remember we were here," Mike said with a frown. "If this isn't handled properly, this town is truly finished."

although the mayor and a select few had acted in a way that could only be described as frenzied madness, Mike had no desire to see the lives of everyone in the town destroyed—especially the innocent residents.

"We'll have to do this the tedious way," Mike muttered suddenly. "I saw the faces of everyone involved in this scheme inside the Sheriff's mind. I'll use my abilities to plant a command in the key players, compelling them to secretly turn themselves in to the relevant authorities."

Those special departments would know how to handle a case like this.

" That's the only way," Clark agreed.

As soon as the words left his mouth, a strange whispering sound suddenly filled the air.

The whispers were filled with madness, destruction, and chaos. If ordinary people were to hear them, their sanity would undoubtedly be shattered, leaving them manipulated by the madness. Fortunately, no one in this group was ordinary. Even Raven possessed an incredibly steadfast will.

Following the source of the sound, they turned their gaze toward the ones emitting the whispers—the police officers.

They were climbing up from the ground, their bodies swaying unsteadily. Their eyes looked as though they had been swallowed by darkness, and their twisted faces were etched with pure insanity.

"What's wrong with them?" Gwen exclaimed. Looking at these people who posed no physical threat, she surprisingly felt a trace of fear.

"They're being controlled. It's a consciousness of pure chaos and madness," Mike frowned, analyzing the situation. "Is that their... faith?"

"That's right. Over a long period, their 'God' has eroded them with these chaotic thoughts, turning them into lunatics."

"Now they've lost control completely. Or more accurately, someone has activated them."

As Mike spoke, the officers began to roar wildly. They drew their weapons and aimed them directly at the family. Mike snorted coldly and tapped the center of his forehead. Psychic energy surged out invisibly, freezing the crazed officers in place before continuing to spread outward, scanning the area.

"Found it!" Mike shouted abruptly.

He turned his gaze toward the depths beneath the Sea of Flowers. Underground, in a place surrounded by piles of white bones, there was a massive cavern containing a very conspicuous altar.

The altar was covered in filth and blood, carved with strange patterns and symbols that resembled a twisted face.

At that moment, the town's mayor, Morton, was kneeling before the altar, praying incessantly. His face was a mask of madness and chaos.

With a thought, Mike sent a surge of psychic power toward Mayor Morton, intending to take direct control of him.

But to Mike's surprise, Mayor Morton had completely lost his mind. He had become a mere vessel for chaos. When Mike attempted to seize control, those chaotic and mad thoughts actually tried to infect him back.

With a cold huff, Mike surged his power, suppressing the corrupting mental force. But unexpectedly, the praying mayor suddenly stopped. A grotesque smile stretched across his face.

Rip!

Accompanied by the sound of tearing flesh, Mayor Morton's body split in two. Yet, strangely, not a single drop of blood spilled out.

The blood seemed to have a life of its own. It writhed upon Morton's split body. As Morton's flesh collapsed and rapidly disintegrated, the blood bound the fragments together, coalescing into a massive, grotesque heart.

Mike's eyes narrowed. Without a moment's hesitation, his body flashed forward. He tore a visible path through the Sea of Flowers as he flew toward the underground space.

almost at the exact moment Mike moved, the Kryptonian battle suit materialized over Clark's body, and he too vanished from his spot. He had used his X-ray vision to see exactly what was happening down there.

Gwen watched the two leave and turned to Raven. "Don't be scared. I'll protect you and Lamb!"

Hearing this, Raven felt a warmth in her heart.

With Mike and Clark's speed, the short distance was covered in the blink of an eye. They didn't bother looking for a tunnel; they simply smashed their way down.

Boom!

With a muffled thud, the two left two large holes in the earth as they appeared in the underground cavern.

Their eyes landed on the pulsating, grotesque heart at the same time. It was currently falling toward the ground.

Eyes flashing, searing heat vision swept toward the heart.

Pop!

Like a bursting water balloon, the heart exploded instantly. However, the flesh and blood that made up the heart acted like liquid, rapidly seeping into the ground.

Mike and Clark let out cold snorts, directing their intense heat vision to blast the ground itself.

Sizzle!

The earth was torn apart, looking as if it were melting. But strangely, the flesh and blood remained unaffected.

In the next instant, the flesh disappeared completely, but the ground began to tremble continuously, as if an earthquake had struck.

Bones—massive amounts of white bones—surged upward like a fountain.

"What is this?" Clark was stunned. It was his first time seeing something like this.

Mike watched the surging bones quietly and said to Clark, "Let's get out first. Something is coming out."

He could feel a powerful and insane mind awakening.

The two flew out of the underground space, reappearing above the Sea of Flowers. By now, the entire field of flowers was shaking violently. Petals scattered, soil churned, and skeleton after skeleton crawled out from the dirt.

In an instant, the beautiful ocean of flowers had transformed into a chilling hell of white bones.

"Are these... the people who were buried here?" Clark asked in a low voice, his eyes filled with anger.

"Judging by the situation, there are even more people buried here than we estimated," Mike said indifferently.

Suddenly, a series of screams rang out across the Sea of Flowers.

The tourists, who had been admiring the scenery just moments ago, were now screaming at the top of their lungs as skeletons began chasing them.

"I'll go save them!"

Before Clark's voice had even faded, he had vanished.

Mike stood quietly in place, looking at the skeletons, and suddenly muttered, "This kind of magic-side stuff..."

As he spoke, he vanished as well, reappearing in front of Gwen.

"Dad! What are these things?" Gwen pointed at the white skeletons, her delicate brows furrowed.

"Your upcoming opponents," Mike smiled at Gwen, gesturing to the sea of bones. "I'm leaving them to you!"

"Really?" Instead of being afraid, Gwen shouted with joy.

Mike nodded with a smile. "It's a perfect chance to test the power you got from Mephisto."

after losing the bet last time, a portion of Mephisto's power had been absorbed by Gwen, significantly enhancing her abilities.

"Alright!" Gwen replied happily.

She walked toward the skeletons step by step. With each step, wisps of blue flame began to emerge from her body. She transformed into a blue-flamed skeleton, and her battle suit materialized over her form.

"I'm off!" Gwen turned back to call out to Mike, making a heart shape with her hands that burned with fire.

Mike smiled and casually opened a portal, dragging Gwen's Vibranium motorcycle, the 'Night Leopard,' directly from their home.

Gwen whistled in delight. The Night Leopard roared to life and rushed toward her. She leaped up, landing on the bike, and casually grabbed the chain attached to it. Blue flames instantly spread to the Night Leopard and the chain in her hand.

"Is it... really okay to leave this to Gwen?" Raven asked, looking at Mike with concern.

"It's fine, trust her!" Mike shook his head, rubbing his chin with a smile on his face. "Children should be put to good use."

"You!" Raven poked Mike, unable to suppress a laugh.

Meanwhile, after transforming, Gwen had already engaged the white skeletons in battle.

Although both sides looked somewhat similar, their abilities were worlds apart. The white skeletons were just ordinary reanimated bones; while stronger than a normal human, they were incredibly fragile compared to Gwen.

Gwen rode the Night Leopard, weaving recklessly through the Sea of Flowers. The chain in her hand swung around her as she moved; any skeleton it touched either burst into flames or was smashed to pieces instantly.

"Ha!"

Seeing a group of skeletons clustered nearby, Gwen gave a low shout. The chain in her hand spun like a vortex, and a pillar of blue fire erupted from within it, burning the group of skeletons into ash.

Gwen chuckled, shaking her chain. The blue flames on the links flew off like startled fireflies, landing on the skeletons. In an instant, another patch of enemies was cleared.

"This is too boring!" Gwen muttered.

These skeletons didn't even have the qualification to make her get serious, let alone force her to use her full power.

"Hmm?"

Suddenly, Gwen stopped in her tracks.

"What is that?"

She watched wide-eyed as the shattered white bones turned into a flowing river of calcium, converging toward the underground cavern.

Just as she was wondering what was happening...

BOOM!

Accompanied by an explosive sound, a gigantic white skeletal claw reached out from the earth and slapped the ground. The entire area seemed to shudder.

Gwen's breath hitched, followed by a surge of excitement. "Now this big guy... looks a bit interesting!"

Under Gwen's gaze, a colossal skeleton, pale all over, seemed to tear the earth apart as it climbed out from below.

The skeleton was dozens of meters tall, wielding a giant bone blade. Two points of crimson light flickered incessantly within its hollow eye sockets. If one looked closely, they would see that the skeleton's body was constructed from countless smaller bones.

"Are those... the bones of the victims?" Gwen whispered. She opened her mouth and spat out a wisp of fire.

"ROAR!"

The giant skeleton roared. Waves of black energy, mixed with madness and chaos, rippled outward in all directions. Any flower touched by these ripples withered in an instant.

Gwen was startled. If this energy hits the tourists...

As if sensing her doubt, Mike's voice rang in Gwen's mind. "Don't worry, your brother is moving the people in the vicinity away."

Gwen nodded, a grin spreading across her skull face. Watching the giant skeleton roaring as if venting its rage, her eyes flashed. A massive fireball rapidly coalesced in front of her.

"Hah!"

With a shout, a baseball bat formed of flames appeared in Gwen's hands. She swung with all her might. The massive fireball flew like a struck baseball, soaring toward the giant skeleton and accurately smashing into its face.

Bang!

With the explosive sound of fire, the giant skeleton's head snapped back, its entire skull engulfed in blue flames.

Gwen rubbed her nose—realizing she didn't have a nose right now, just two dark holes—and grimaced in frustration. She revved the Night Leopard and charged toward the giant skeleton.

Since she had confirmed it was an enemy, she was going to strike first!

"ROAR!"

The giant skeleton bellowed in fury. The red lights in its eyes surged. The great blade, over thirty meters long, sliced toward Gwen with a howling wind.

"Damn ant! You dare offend the Skeleton King!"

Boom!

The blade struck the ground, leaving a deep trench. The Skeleton King scanned the area. Seeing no sign of Gwen, he roared happily, "That is your fate!"

Vroom—!

The roar of an engine suddenly pierced the air. A streak of blue fire raced rapidly up the back of the Skeleton King's blade.

It was Gwen!

She rode the Night Leopard, laughing maniacally. She used the Skeleton King's weapon as a runway, charging straight up the blade before launching herself like a cannonball, smashing directly into the Skeleton King's head.

Boom!

An explosion rang out, blue flames bursting like shattered water droplets. The Skeleton King cried out in pain as a massive hole was punched through his skull.

"Woo-hoo!"

Gwen burst out from the other side of the hole. As she plummeted toward the ground, she whipped her arm out. The burning chain flew, wrapping around the Skeleton King's neck. The chain elongated endlessly. The moment Gwen landed, she let out a wild laugh, and the Night Leopard spewed massive amounts of fire as she accelerated hard, pulling forward.

Immediately, the off-balance Skeleton King crashed to the ground with a thunderous boom.

Gwen drifted the bike in a stylish turn, mocking the fallen giant. "Looks impressive, but useless! Ha!"

The Skeleton King struggled to rise. Gwen sneered and rode her bike in circles around the massive skeleton. The chain in her hand seemed to have a life of its own, weaving back and forth over the Skeleton King's body.

After one full lap, the Skeleton King was tied up like a dumpling.

Gwen nodded, very satisfied with her handiwork.

Suddenly, two swirling vortexes of fire appeared in her eyes. She looked toward an empty spot not far away and sneered.

"Did you really think I wouldn't notice? Where do you think you're running to?"

Following her voice, the space began to distort. A black shadow, roughly the size of a normal human and composed entirely of energy, appeared in her field of vision, fleeing frantically into the distance.

But before it could run more than a few steps, a figure engulfed in flames blocked its path. Under its shocked and furious gaze, the figure leaped up, landed on top of it, and grabbed its face with both hands.

"Bastard! Look into my eyes!"
