Although Star Company was a colossal force and those who opposed it rarely met a good end, the group led by the vengeful Spider-Woman Gwen—the Extinguishers—was an exception.

This was because the Extinguishers had within their ranks a Star Company defector—Eliminator Luke.

Luke had access to some of Star Company's intelligence networks, and before Star Company could act, he would often slip away in advance.

Thus, the Extinguishers became a thorn that Star Company could not remove.

They not only caused endless trouble for Star Company, but even went so far as to assassinate their superheroes, while secretly investigating the company's hidden truths and criminal evidence, hoping to expose them to the public.

If they could capture the Extinguishers—or better yet, their leader, the vengeful Spider-Woman Gwen—it would be considered a massive accomplishment. The company would undoubtedly reward such success with more resources and greater influence.

Hearing Killian's words, the other four were instantly moved.

Indeed, if the five of them could capture Spider-Woman, even if they could not surpass Iron Maiden and Mister Zero, securing their current positions would be guaranteed.

That was also why Killian had not invited Iron Maiden or Mister Zero to this meeting.

"So, tell us, how do you plan on capturing Spider-Woman?"

"I plan to… hmm?"

Just as Killian was about to speak, he froze.

That voice didn't belong to any of them.

He instantly darted aside, his arms turning gold and crimson, radiating terrifying heat.

At the same moment, the other four in the meeting room turned toward the sudden intruder—Mike—their faces filled with mixed reactions.

"Spatial ability?"

The Witch Doctor said calmly, glancing at Darknight.

Darknight also possessed spatial powers.

Darknight gave a small nod. "Yes."

"Giggle."

Diamond Woman smiled as she studied Mike. "And who might this gentleman be, intruding so boldly? Have you come to pursue me?"

"Idiot woman!"

Shark curled his lip. "You think every man who shows up wants to sleep with you?"

"Of course!"

Diamond Woman declared proudly. "I am every man's dream lover. Didn't you also climb into my bed?"

"Fuck! Don't bring that up! You twisted freak!"

Shark's face instantly turned ugly.

He recalled that night—just when things were about to reach their peak, she had turned her entire body into diamond, nearly snapping off his manhood. The memory still made him shudder.

"Giggle."

Diamond Woman let out a soft laugh.

"Who are you?"

Killian narrowed his eyes, ignoring the bickering between the fish-brain and the deranged woman. The sudden appearance of Mike radiated danger, and Killian quickly signaled the other four.

Mike's gaze swept across them coldly. Without wasting words, his figure blurred and vanished—reappearing before Killian in an instant. His hand, sharp as a blade, slashed several times in rapid succession.

Shhk! Shhk! Shhk!

Only when searing pain exploded across his body did Killian realize what had happened. He tried to raise his hands to attack, but—

Thud! Thud!

Both his arms fell to the ground. Moments later, his legs followed.

"Ahhh!"

Screaming in agony, Killian collapsed to the floor. Though his limbs quickly regenerated in the searing heat of his powers, for at least ten seconds he would be unable to move.

The other four were struck dumb by the sight.

The very next second, they sprang into action.

Diamond Woman transformed her entire body into diamond. Shark ripped the office desk free and swung it at Mike. The Witch Doctor unleashed his curses, while Darknight vanished into the void, silently reappearing behind Mike, his vibranium dagger slashing for Mike's throat.

Mike pivoted, slamming a fist into Darknight's chest and blasting his heart to pieces. His eyes flashed, unleashing twin beams of heat vision that obliterated the Witch Doctor's head into gore.

As Shark's desk crashed down, Mike sidestepped, appearing above him. One crushing stomp drove Shark's shark-like head into his own chest cavity.

Finally, Mike's cold gaze landed on the last one standing—Diamond Woman.

She had been ready to attack, but her body froze. Forcing a sycophantic smile, she stood rooted in place.

Fear. Terror.

She hadn't expected Mike to be this powerful. The other four had been annihilated in an instant.

Such strength—she had only ever seen it in Iron Maiden.

"Is something funny?"

Mike suddenly appeared right before her, his voice flat, his killing intent stabbing into her mind like steel needles.

She realized at once—this man would not let her go. The only thing in his eyes was murder.

So, she lashed out instinctively.

Beams of energy burst from her body, wildly lancing out in all directions, destroying everything around her.

Everything except Mike.

Scattered energy beams posed no threat to him. Concentrated, they might have done something—but like this? Nothing.

His figure blurred as he moved through the storm of energy, and as Diamond Woman shrieked hysterically, his hands clamped down on her head.

Crack!

Fractures spread across her diamond skull.

Her shrill cries were cut off.

Then Mike finished it with a punch, shattering her head completely, before turning his gaze back toward Killian, whose legs were only just beginning to regrow.

Killian froze.

He had planned to escape while Mike was busy killing the others, but now…

Damn it!

Who was this man?

The sound of approaching footsteps made Killian's heart pound in panic and fury.

Mike seized him by the throat and hauled him up from the floor. "Remind me—who was it you said you were after just now?"

"I… urgh!"

Killian tried to respond, but the crushing force on his neck silenced the words in his throat.

His eyes bulged as he stared at Mike in horror.

But wasn't it you who asked?!

"Where is Spider-Woman?"

Mike was also searching for Gwen. Gaining information from Killian would be an unexpected bonus.

Killian's face flushed red, but no sound escaped him.

Mike arched a brow. "Stubborn, huh."

I'll talk!

But let go first!

Killian screamed inwardly. His newly formed legs kicked desperately at Mike.

Mike didn't even flinch. His icy blue eyes only grew colder.

Killian's heart clenched in dread. His entire throat blazed gold and crimson, radiating heat hot enough to melt steel.

Mike remained indifferent. A card appeared between his fingers.

Name: Memory Edit.

The card materialized, dissolved into points of light, and vanished. Mike extended his hand into Killian's head.

His fingers stirred briefly before tugging, and Killian's memories unraveled like a reel of film. Mike pulled it free, scanning through at lightning speed for what he sought.

A few seconds later, Mike's eyes lit up.

Found it.
