As a commander of Krypton, Fiora's past responsibilities involved leading fleets, following the general's orders, conquering planet after planet, and eliminating anyone who dared oppose them.

But now, she had actually been reduced to a kidnapper.

Just thinking about it filled Fiora's heart with uncontrollable rage.

All of this—just to find that damned Kal-El—had forced her to resort to such a foolish act.

Because of that, she had developed a strong, inexplicable dislike for Kal-El before even meeting him.

According to her original plan, she would have directly hacked into Earth's electronic systems and sent out a threatening broadcast, forcing Kal-El to come out on his own.

However, the allies they had encountered provided them with highly valuable intelligence.

Although Earth's technology was far inferior to theirs, this planet housed a group of special individuals—superheroes.

Each of these beings possessed formidable power and represented a significant threat.

If she had gone with her original method, it would have immediately put Earth's superheroes on high alert. That would have jeopardized their plan, so she was forced to resort to this idiotic approach.

While exposure to a yellow sun awakened various superpowers in Kryptonians, their numbers were pitifully small—only eleven of them remained, far from enough to carry out the original plan.

So, in light of these conditions, they had to revise their strategy and cooperate with Thanos.

Thanos would provide the army and help them conquer the planet, and in return, they would assist him in obtaining the Infinity Stones.

Once they controlled this planet and acquired the Codex of Life, Krypton could be reborn.

Rebirth...

Just thinking about it ignited a burning fire within Fiora.

Ding!

A bullet landed right between her brows.

Her head didn't even flinch; instead, the bullet ricocheted off her forehead.

Fiora turned her head slightly, her icy blue eyes gleaming with cold light. Then she smiled at the sniper in the distance.

The sniper trembled. Before he could react, two scorching beams of heat vision swept toward him.

Boom!

The spot where he stood was split in half.

The police watching from afar gasped in shock.

That power… why does it seem so familiar?

Fiora squinted slightly, satisfied as she looked at her now-vanished enemy. But upon realizing her transparent helmet had been shattered by the heat vision, she casually removed it and tossed it aside.

They had lingered near the yellow sun for quite some time.

As warriors with immense potential and combat talent, they had rapidly awakened a variety of powers and had already mastered them.

So, when she took down the sniper, she had already noticed the approaching stream of fire rushing toward her.

Steel armor… Iron Man?

According to their intel, he was one of Earth's superheroes—and one deemed non-threatening.

Tony quickly arrived in front of Fiora. As she studied him, he was also assessing her.

Looking at her outfit and the black cape trailing behind her, Tony couldn't shake the feeling that she looked familiar.

"JARVIS, scan her suit," Tony ordered quickly.

A moment later, JARVIS replied,

"Sir, the material of her suit is very similar to Superman's. It's extraterrestrial in origin."

From beyond Earth, similar to Clark, and based on the powers she had just shown…

Tony felt a chill in his heart and immediately sent a distress signal to the other Avengers.

Whoosh!

With a sound that tore through the air, Fiora's icy face suddenly appeared directly in front of Tony, nearly touching his helmet.

The eyes on Tony's mask lit up, and energy surged into both his hands.

"Your heart is beating fast," Fiora said coldly, as she suddenly gripped his wrists.

Immediately, deep finger marks appeared on his armor. As her grip tightened, the metal began to deform.

Tony's expression changed, but he still smiled and said, "Because your beauty makes my heart race."

Fiora's lips curled into a cruel smile. "Then how about you give me your heart?"

"Things are… moving too fast," Tony replied.

"Not willing? Then I'll just have to take it myself."

Fiora smiled gracefully, increasing her grip strength.

Cracks spread across the metal at Tony's wrists.

Just then, two miniature cannons appeared on the shoulders of his suit and fired several bullets at Fiora's face.

Ding ding ding!

The bullets bounced off harmlessly.

Tony: "…"

Seriously? Would it kill her to at least dodge one for appearance's sake?

Though the attack had no real power, it felt incredibly insulting.

Fiora's eyes sparkled.

Tony's heart skipped a beat. The arc reactor in his chest blasted out a burst of energy, forcing Fiora backward and allowing him to break free from her hold.

In the next moment, his back armor opened up, launching a volley of tiny missiles toward Fiora.

Boom! Boom!

Amid intense explosions, the fire cloud engulfed Fiora.

Tony didn't even stop to check the results. As soon as he launched the missiles, he retreated from the spot. Two specialized rockets ejected from his thighs.

Whoosh!

A black figure burst through the flames, flying straight at Tony. Spotting the incoming rockets, she kicked one away and caught the other in her hand.

With a squeeze—

Boom!

A fireball erupted from her palm and engulfed her once again.

Tony's eye twitched violently. His heart sank.

She has the same powers as Clark. He didn't stand a chance.

Against an enemy like this, none of his weapons worked.

Why would someone with such power need to kidnap hostages?

A stream of thoughts flashed through Tony's mind as he fired two high-intensity laser beams from his wrists.

The lasers, capable of slicing through solid steel, struck Fiora without causing any visible harm—just a slight furrow of her brow.

How is this even a fight?

Tony cursed internally.

Fiora patted her chest, an amused glint in her eyes.

So weak… perfect for passing the time.

As that thought fell into place, the cape behind her straightened into a black streak, and she vanished.

JARVIS issued a warning. Tony barely managed to twist his body to the side when a heavy fist struck his chest, cracking the armor and sending him flying.

His chest tightened in pain. Just as he saw Fiora vanish again, a familiar red figure entered his field of vision and caught the incoming steel punch.

Bang!

A deep, muffled sound exploded outward as a shockwave spread in all directions.

Fiora's body was forced back. Her eyes landed on the man in the blue suit. She paused on the symbol on his chest before saying,

"Kal-El."

Clark's eyes darkened. "Who are you?"

"Fiora. Your fellow Kryptonian."

Her tone was cold and distant.

Although he had suspected it upon seeing her, hearing her say it still left Clark stunned.

"My fellow Kryptonian?"
