Without any idea, he continued to roam in search of a clue. Endless skyscrapers touching the sky, vehicles covered in dust, and everywhere his eyes wandered, only ruins covered in dust remained.
His eyes wandered to a building that somehow attracted him. Increasing his pace, he stood before the building, which had ten floors, and the glass was shattered. Before him, he saw the ground floor, which was completely messed up.
Lifting his foot, as he was about to enter the building, his footsteps halted.
"Who are you, kid?"
He turned his head and noticed a masked man with a gun pointing at him.
"Me?"
Sam indicated toward himself.
The masked man looked around and asked, "Is there anybody other than you?"
Sam scratched his head.
"I'm Rahul."
"I didn't mean that. I mean, who are you?" the masked man's voice chilled.
Sam felt the surrounding air freeze.
"I'm sorry for intruding, but I'm lost."
