As promised, Shido acted as Rumia and Frieren's tour guide, and they spent the day exploring the city. Their first stop was Asakusa, where the two girls marveled at the giant red lantern of Sensō-ji Temple and the traditional street stalls brimming with sweets and souvenirs.
From there, Shido led them to Akihabara, where the glowing signs and endless rows of anime shops immediately caught their attention. Rumia's eyes sparkled as she peeked into the game centers, while Frieren quietly inspected the rows of figures and people with her usual calm expression in place.
By noon, they stopped at a family restaurant in Shinjuku for lunch. Rumia happily enjoyed her hamburger set and parfait, while Frieren calmly sampled curry rice, making her eyes glimmering with interest. Shido decided against taking them to Wagnaria, thinking it might be overwhelming for the two, given how eccentric the staff could be.
After lunch, Shido led them to Shibuya, letting them experience the famous scramble crossing and the lively energy of the bustling crowds. Seeing the crowd, Frieren became dizzy, almost tempted to unleash Judradjim to blast everyone away and clear the area.
Of course, they didn't forget to buy a bunch of clothes for Rumia and Frieren at the mall. At the same time, the two girls also picked out outfits that would look good on Shido. With two beautiful girls by his side, he quickly became the center of attention, not only because of Frieren and Rumia, but also because of how striking he was. Still, the three of them ignored the stares around them, focusing instead on having fun and shopping.
During their shopping trip, Shido took both of them to Takasago Bookstore, a place he had noticed before. The moment they stepped inside, Frieren's eyes lit up, and she eagerly scrambled to explore the interesting books. Rumia followed her, knowing that reading would help her broaden her understanding of Shido's world.
The two of them were completely engrossed in browsing the books while Shido watched them with a smile. Since he was here, he figured he might as well pick up some study materials for his entrance exam. Walking over to the Education section, he selected the books he needed.
Shido didn't pick too many books, just the important ones, then walked over to see what Rumia and Frieren had chosen. When he arrived, he saw both of them holding the books they wanted.
Once they were finished, Shido led them to the cashier to pay. As he did, he noticed a girl walking away after purchasing her book. Shido noticed her because of her unique attire, as she was cosplaying 'Queen of Nightmare'.
The girl had long, straight dark blue hair and striking blue eyes. She looked somewhat short, though Shido knew she was around his age. What truly caught his attention, however, was her black Gothic Lolita dress, which made her resemble a doll.
Shido continued to watch her until the store cashier called out to him. After paying for their books, Shido thought of the girl for a bit before the three of them resumed their tour of the shopping district.
As evening fell, they visited Tokyo Skytree. The two girls sat in awe, speechless as the city lights stretched endlessly beneath them, shimmering like a sea of stars.
"Did you two have fun?"
Shido sat between Rumia and Frieren, taking in their slightly weary faces, each still holding a contented smile of satisfaction.
"Un! I had so much fun, Shido-san," Rumia said with an innocent smile as she turned toward him.
"Well, I admit there are many unique things in this world, and it's always good to learn something new," Frieren said. Despite her roundabout response, Shido knew she had truly enjoyed the day. They learned many things about Shido's world whether they are good, bad or weird.
Looking out at the busy streets, where people could still be seen moving busily in every direction under the glow of the city lights, the three of them decided it was time to head back.

Rumia woke in the middle of the night, feeling thirsty. She got out of bed, rubbing her sleepy eyes as she walked toward the door to get a drink. She was already wearing the pajamas they had bought earlier as she stepped out of the room.
However, as she was too drowsy, Rumia didn't notice that Frieren, who was supposed to be sleeping beside her, was nowhere to be found, leaving an empty space.

After drinking some water, Rumia felt refreshed, and her mind began to wake up. She returned the water pitcher to the fridge and was about to head back to their room to sleep, but her eyes perked up when she heard a strange noise.
At first, she thought there might be a robber, but the sound was too soft and strange for that. As a mage, Rumia's senses were enhanced, and she quickly traced the source. When she did, her expression shifted to surprise and doubt as the sound was coming from Shido's room.
She wasn't sure whether she should open it, but the strange sound kept echoing, making Rumia even more curious.
Finally, she decided to see what was inside, moving slowly so as not to alarm or startle Shido. After twisting the knob, she created a small gap to peek through, and her eyes widened in shock the moment she saw what was happening inside.
Disbelief, surprise, embarrassment, sadness, envy, and… lust.
These were the emotions Rumia felt as she watched the passionate and obscene scene before her.

"I'll take Rumia with me in Aincrad so we can clear some floors today," Frieren said before Rumia could respond.
"Is that so? Then be careful, retreat when the you can't handle the enemy, alright."
Shido said with concern, however, he knew that only those on the 70th floor and above could truly threaten Frieren and Rumia.

"Also, take one of the 'Zero Knights' with you."
"Yes, yes."
Zero Knights.
They were the armors Shido had stolen from the Platinum Dragon Lord, and he had made multiple copies, creating an army of Level 70+ armored warriors. Half of them were stationed to guard Aincrad, while the other half were used to grind levels. Because of this, Shido, Rumia, and Frieren's level gauges continued to rise even without actively doing anything, though the progress was a bit slow.
However, experience was still important, so Shido only ordered them to grind levels on the floors the three of them had already cleared, with Shido, Rumia, and Frieren getting the first kill of each floor boss.
Since there were already so many of them, Shido decided to rename the army from the previous "Azure Knights" to the current "Zero Knights." After all, it would be too lame to base their name solely on their appearance, right?
"Then, I'll be leaving now."
"Un, don't worry, Shido-san. I'll take care of the dishes."
"Thank you, Rumia."
Shido bid the two of them goodbye before leaving the apartment, a quiet eagerness stirring within him as he made his way to his company, Eagle Jump.
