This time, he had obtained a skill, 'Memory Manipulation'. While its level wasn't particularly high, it was still a useful ability and would no doubt come in handy in certain situations.
When he saw the second reward, Shido fell silent as the name tugged at his memory. Even with his photographic recall, it took him a few seconds to place where he had heard it before.
"It's from that anime, isn't it?
Shido was left speechless once he finally recalled the origin of the name. It came from an anime called New Game, a slice-of-life series filled with cute girls and the occasional bit of yuri teasing.

"...Then that's good." Shido was speechless at how proactive the system was with this matter, but he chose not to dwell on it. Closing the system interface, he ended the conversation.
It was the middle of the night, and Shido sat in the living room, reviewing the rewards he had gained from capturing Shalltear. Clementine was fast asleep in his room, exhausted after their nightly activities.
Glancing out the window, he could still see faint lights glowing from the buildings and streets outside. Inside the house, however, everyone else seemed to be asleep, or so he thought.
"Hmm? You're still awake, Shido?"
He turned his head and saw Frieren, looking drowsy in her simple white one-piece dress. Her hair was loose as it cascading softly down her back. For a moment, Shido was stunned by her quiet beauty, but he quickly averted his gaze before she could notice. Since it was only the two of them, Frieren addressed him by his real name.
"...Yeah, I was just checking on something, so I stayed here. What about you?" Shido lifted the cup of tea he had brewed and took a sip before asking, watching as Frieren headed into the kitchen to pour herself a glass of water.
"I was just a bit thirsty." She replied lazily with a half closed eyes.
Frieren returned to the living room with a glass of water in hand and quietly sat down across from Shido. Though her body still looked drowsy, her mind was clear, fully aware of her surroundings.
"Why are you sitting here too? Aren't you going to sleep?" Shido asked, puzzled as to why Frieren had chosen to join him in the living room.
"Maa, maa. I'm not sleepy anymore, so let me take a break here." Frieren replied casually, lifting her glass of water and taking a slow sip.
"You sure are so—" Shido smiled helplessly at how relaxed and lighthearted she was. But his words froze in his throat. His eyes widened slightly as he suddenly caught sight of something… unbelievable erotic.
Frieren who was drinking water accidentally spilled a little, and it trailed down from her chin to her neck making the sight somewhat tempting. Despite her childish features, no one could deny that Frieren was truly a beautiful elf and her current appearance only made her look seductive.
