"What you're doing is against the rules of our kind. The Volturi won't take kindly to this. Are you sure, that a mere human is worth your entire coven?" The man asked in that low baritone voice of his from the other side of the street.
Alice simply growled as she replied in a deep feral voice, sounding utterly inhuman.
"He is part of the coven. We simply havn't turned him yet."
"I see… well then I shall report this to the Volturi, If he isn't turned by the time they come for the investigation? That's your problem." The man replied as he turned to walk away however Alice didn't wait, she didn't hesitate even for a single moment as she vanished in a blur of movement towards the alley and the vampire. Her arm raised in a clawing movement already as she appeared behind him almost instantly.
Arthur could only watch, if previous he could see the vampiric movement only after it had happened, now he could react to it. He was still slower, much slower however he could counter attack if he predicted a movement. He could see everything.
Arthur himself didn't wait when he saw Alice, he ran backward towards the porsche, he would only be a burden if he stayed here, his best choice at the moment was to get as far away as possible, back to the Cullen Mansion, and hope that the rest of the Cullens would come to Alice or that she would simply win.
He was close to the porsche already, he slammed the door open however just as he was about to jump inside the car, his body was yanked backwards by the hem of his shirt at supernatural speeds, quickly being slammed towards the alley, almost dragged through mid air.
Looking back, he saw that the man had managed to dodge Alice and had swerved around her before grabbing him at the car.
Arthur was slammed against an alley wall, the man's face close to his whilst his eyes were on Alice.
"Stop, or I snap his neck." The man spoke, his voice cold as he gazed at Alice who had frozen in place, her eyes now completley black voids as she looked at Arthur pinned to the alley wall and the man.
Before Alice could do anything, the man spoke coldly.
"I'll turn him. Either let me complete the process or I kill him now. The rules must be followed no matter what."
Alice practically vibrated in rage however she held still.
"Alright, do you have enough control to manage that and not kill me?" Arthur questioned, his hands were trembling however he didn't put up any resistance.
"Yes I've maintained my control for over three hundred years now." The man replied before opening his mouth, and bitting Arthur's neck without a single wasted second.
Pain like no other shot through Arthur's body before it was suddenly gone. The man had wrenched his head back, and was now coughing on the ground, his entire face was scrunched up in pain as his body started convulsing.
'My blood? Is it…' Arthur instantly thought before a smile showed on his face, for the first time in this life. Arthur felt pure joy, he felt giddy at the sight of the man convusling.
That lasted a single second before he froze and slowly turned his gaze towards Alice.
'Im bleeding. It's toxic however what if it still smells just as nice as human blood. She's already on the verge of loosing control, she won't kill me but she could kill herself if my blood is that toxic.' Arthur thought quickly as he took a step back.
"Alice? You still in control?" Arthur questioned, his tone wary.
"Yes. Im still here, it's a bit hard. If you could go back to the porsche. I'll deal with him now." Alice replied, her voice strained, similarly to how Jasper's was constantly, she clearly sounded like she was in pain at the close distance she had with Arthur and his blood.
'So it still is as enticing to them… I mean Carlisle clearly didn't notice anything different about it from the smell alone and we still didnt have the test from the hospital about its structure.' Arthur thought as he gave a quick nod and instantly started running towards the porsche.
Alice meanwhile crouched down to the convulsing vampire and instantly started raining punches on his body. Firs she shattered his ribs, next his left hand before doing the same to his right.
After she shattered almost all of the bones in his face aswell as the his jaw, before moving to his legs and quickly doing the same before grabbing the now sack of what remained of the vampire and using her speed to quickly head to the end of the alley and throwing the man in a pile of trash. She disappeared for a moment in a blur of speed and came back quickly with a lighter in hand and a case of gasoline, quickly drenching the man in it before lighting him and the trash bags around him on fire.
The body of the vampire quickly caught on fire, starting to burn at a higher speed than even the gasoline as his body started turning to ash leaving nothing behind.
Alice walked out of the alley but didn't get close to the porsche.
"You have some money at the passenger side of the seat, use that and go to a hotel atleast for tonight. You smell too much of blood to come back home for now." Alice replied softly before vanishing in a blur once more, already heading back towards the Cullen mansion.
They still had to deal with the Bella and Edward mess.
Arthur finally felt his body start to cool down as he slumped on the driver seat, releasing a soft sigh of relief.
His emotions slowly starting to calm down, returning him to his usual emotionless state.
