The time they both had both spent together flashed through his head. The memories they had and how those moments would come to an end. Zade let out an animalistic cry, one that tore through the chaos. It was the saddest cry, filled with anguish and rage. He held Ronan close to his body as though it would somehow bring him back to life but Ronan's lifeless body remained unresponsive,the colour slowly draining from his skin with each second that passed by. As an alpha he had mastered the art of keeping his emotions in order but the death of his best friend seemed to rip his heart apart bit by bit. For the first time in years, the powerful alpha felt utterly powerless.
