For Avery, it didn't matter if she was on vacation or not.
Even during the two-month-long summer vacation, Avery worked every day. She would either be seated at her desk. immersed in documents in front of her computer, remotely orchestrating the vast V Group, or she would be found in various labs, directing and overseeing an array of experiments.
Late that night, after she finished her work, she closed the document and opened the news webpage. She browsed the news while drinking coffee.
Immediately, a piece of news caught her eye.
"Anabel was promoted to vice president of Joaquin Heavy Industry, the youngest executive in history." Avery thought. Is Anabel back?
