"Which Madam?"
"I can't speak of her, sir." The guy inside the carriage said mysteriously, "But she told me to relay that you should come without asking too many irrelevant questions."
'Only one woman would likely order me like that… except for Abigail, of course.' I sigh and get inside, Jacob coming with but the guy put a stop to him.
"I was told to bring only Mr. Tax, I'm afraid."
"What bullshit is this? I'm his bodyguar-"
"It's alright, Jacob. Just go home, I'd be back after this." As I was about to get inside, I stop and turn to him, "But if you don't hear from me in two days-"
"I'll personally take care of the funeral arrangements." Jacob nodded seriously and closed the door before my fist could land on his stupid face.
As the carriage moved on and out the capital city, I turn to the only guy. Now that I am so close, I see he looked no different than most professional butlers.
