Reviving Bill was simple. Satoshi just had to place him in the machine and pull the start lever following Bill's instructions. Instantly, Bill and Raticate separated, returning to their normal forms.

Satoshi grinned. "A Quasi-Elite potential Pokémon egg, plus TM [Earthquake]. I knew coming here was the right choice." The quest rewards were exactly what he had expected, but the TM was an unexpected bonus. [Earthquake] was a powerful Ground-type move, though Charmeleon and Grovyle would need to evolve into Charizard and Sceptile to learn it. Frogadier couldn't use it, but Riolu could right away. That gave Riolu another powerful offensive option. Besides, Charmeleon and Grovyle were only one level away from evolving, meaning they'd be able to use it soon enough.
He was particularly excited about the Pokémon egg. Unlike other rewards, this wasn't given by the system but directly by Bill himself.
"Thank you for your help! By the way, I don't think I got your name." Bill stretched his limbs, clearly relieved to be back in his human body.
"It's nothing, just lending a hand. My name is Satoshi, a Rookie Trainer passing through for training." Satoshi responded casually, knowing he was about to receive his real prize.
"Satoshi? I feel like I've heard that name before… Oh well, if I can't remember, it's probably not important." Bill shrugged. Then, as if suddenly remembering something, he brightened up. "Right, to thank you, I'll give you something special."
Bill hurried into his room and soon returned, carrying a Pokémon egg. "This is a Pokémon egg I found by chance. I'm not an expert in hatching Pokémon, so I can't say exactly what it is. But my scans show it has at least Quasi-Elite potential."
Satoshi took the egg with a smirk. "At least Quasi-Elite potential? Now that's a prize I won't refuse." He scanned it with his Pokédex.
[Mysterious Pokémon Egg]: A Pokémon with at least Quasi-Elite potential is inside. It will take time to hatch.
Satoshi wasn't an egg specialist, but he knew this was an incredible find. In his previous life, the lucky players who received this egg usually hatched a Growlithe, which was already an excellent Pokémon. But with his passive luck bonus, he was certain to hatch something even better.
Bill continued, "Honestly, if you hadn't been here today, I don't know what would've happened. I might've been eaten by those Fearow. You really saved my life."
"You're too kind. I just did what anyone would do. I should be the one thanking you for this Pokémon egg—getting a Pokémon with limitless potential is a huge gift."
Bill laughed. "Don't downplay it! You saved my life; this is the least I can do." As if suddenly remembering something, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a ticket. "Oh, I also have this S.S. Ticket for the S.S. Anne. Take it as well."
Satoshi's eyes widened slightly before quickly accepting it. He hadn't expected this extra bonus, but he wasn't about to refuse it either. In his previous life, this ticket gave access to one of the most unique training opportunities in the game.
"It's getting late. Are you planning to stay here for the night or return to Cerulean City?" Bill asked.
Satoshi checked the time. "Actually, I need to head to Vermilion City. If I leave now, I should make it before dusk."
"Then I won't hold you up. Safe travels, Satoshi!"
Satoshi bid Bill farewell and quickly left the Cape House. Despite a few unexpected events today, his schedule remained intact. Arriving in Vermilion City just before dark, he checked into the Pokémon Center.
"Tomorrow, I challenge the gym and get my third badge." With that, he set up his Pokémon for rest and logged off.
