Four days after the assassination attempt on Grito, the Alliance Police base had finally settled down.
Every storage room had been searched for illicit items and the base staff and officers had all been thoroughly investigated.
Of the thousands of people living on the base, nearly two dozen had been found to be acting as spies for other organizations.
Most had been among the civilian staff, but a few officers were found to be dirty as well.
Checking transmission logs and payments into accounts had revealed the wrongdoings of the suspects, and a majority confessed when confronted to avoid harsher punishments.
During this time, Avery and his team mostly stayed on their own vessels.
It was a shame since the planet was beautiful and the base offered some recreational activities they could not find out in space.
