The Queen had left since, the cell was quiet , Lee Kwon sat the deep end of the cell which was enveloped in pure darkness , he remained there not moving , his clothes dirty due to his futile yet meaningless ravage, he just sat there alone , he couldn't cry anymore , the silence was suffocating yet he did everything to endure and then the time came as he heard a large gong , metal against metal , the steel heavy rod hitting the flat surface , he clenched his fist and began to sob then another gong , this was torture ,pure torture , " let me out , let me out ,.....LET ME OUT , LET ME OUT,...", he yelled , it was heartbreaking to hear it knowing fully well he was never seeing his father again, he tried scuffling his hand out of the tight rusted clad from his wrist but it only caused him to bleed but he didn't care and then finally the third and the last gong was hit , ending it , mutilating all hopes of seeing his father , he yelled , thrashed , sobbed, but he knew nothing he would do would change anything , he crumbled down on his feet , exhaustion written all over his face , he curled himself, his wrist bleeding from from too much straining , he crumbled and he sobbed again , a cry of a lost loved one , a cry that shattered the heart of even the icy cold, it was heartfelt as he kept calling out his father , he remembered the last thing he said to him that he was never a father to him, all the awful things he said to him , he never got to apologize , he never even told him how much he loved him, his sobs were quiet unlike before , the thrashing, shouting, aggressive rustling of the heavy chains all quieted down , all that was left was a broken soul and a shattered heart.

Eun Chen slowly opened her eyes , she had passed out again, blood was dripping from all sides of her body , her clothes almost rag and deep cuts on her body were visible, it was Indeed gruesome , her lips were dry signifying that she was thirsty, they had finally found her and now they were going to kill her, she lay there unmoving, the spiral marks had completely drained her , she heard echoing footsteps, she tried to get up she tried to see who was coming but she couldn't even lift her body , she felt paralyzed but she could tell the number of people that were coming , the way they all walked was different, one was behind because he was limping, the other pace was faster and distorted and the last one walked elegantly , he was faster and nearer to her, the last person walk she could recognize it from anywhere , with all the wounds that had been afflicted upon her she was supposed to be dead by now but it looked like the spiral marks were sustaining her , prolonging her suffering, it was ironic how it was feeding off her yet sustaining her it felt like a slow eating parasite taking nibs of her fleshyet still keeping her alive to feast on her more later.
They were now beside her , Han jum bent down and softly stroked her hair, her body still remained number , she really wanted to push him away but she couldn't, she was stiff, " it is such a shame ,..., you were my best student, you had so much potential and you exceeded my expectations but it all came crashing down ....", saying that he fiercely gripped Eun Chen by her hair which made her wince in pain but still she felt number all over her body, she was unable to defend herself , " you still betrayed me and your clan , you are the biggest disappointment we have ever had....", saying that he forcefully tugged at her hair releasing his harsh grip from her hair, some strands of her hair intertwined between his fingers , " you can still be useful later on ,....., making a deal with the Queen in exchange of what I desire the most ", said Han jum as he looked over at Eun Chen then the men that were with him , " starve her, don't give her any water , make sure she doesn't escape from here , she is really cunning just like me ,...., so watch her", said Han jum in a commanding tone. Yes he knew what he wanted ,the Queen was a vile woman who cared about nothing apart from her son's and her image , she would like to remain Queen for a very long time without any opposition from the council members, in maintaining that image of hers she will kill anyone who is still on the side of the King , those who think a woman is not worthy of ruling , at the same time she will need allies , killing won't be an option for now in order for them to be on her side she has to make a huge contribution and the biggest option will be if the most ruthless assasin who had been terrorizing the country was caught once and and for all , with him having the very child he had trained to be a ruthless killer for the past twenty years , he was at the best advantage. " Don't worry,..., you will be reunited with your lover very soon", he said with am evil grin , Eun Chen eyes widened , that was the only way she could speak, she could only speak with her eyes , she tried to move , she desperately tried to say something but she couldn't , if only he could read her mind, her mind was pleading with him to not harm Lee Kwon , to spare him , that she will do anything for him to not do anything to him but the fact here was he couldn't read her mind, even if if he could he will not listen to her , he will walk away just like what he was doing, he was walking away , the man that raised her to be this way , eventhough he had never loved her she had loved him, she had once considered him a father but now the same man she knew wanted her dead, she knew he had a hand in her mother's death but with the promise of vengeance she was promised a home, he showed an insincere repentance which she found unbelievable and ridiculous especially to herself, if he was really repentant all through he won't have killed the children he supposedly saved.
She scoffed inwardly, not only had she been deceived by this man , she had also been deceiving herself , the greatest vengeance was to leave him, the only pawn he could use to gain the Queens favour will escape , she needed to try and escape from here and she also needed to save Lee Kwon, but ho will she leave this place in her weak state?.

" The King is dead , what is to be done now", asked one of the officials all seated on the floor below , " as a Queen you need a King to rule by your side , you can't rule by yourself because you are a wo....", the official immediately stopped himself from speaking any further , the Queen tilted her head , her face heartlessly stoic, " why...., you don't believe a woman can rule a country by herself but a man can rule by himself without need of any support or discrimination", said the Queen coldly , the whole assembly was silent because they knew talking against the Queen will lead their heads on a palette, " what is wrong, you can't speak again....", said the Queen with a cruel smile , " please forgive me your Majesty,..., those foul words that escaped my mouth was indeed condescending, please spare this old fool ", said the official franantically bowing his head , the Queen knew that she won't gain the same amount of respect her husband had gained , she was just a supporting breech in his sovereignty, she was going to get that respect and show them that she doesn't need a man by her side to rule , she looked over at her guards , they nodded in response getting the signal immediately, her two guards went over to the official and held him lightly by his arms as they aggressively pushed him into the floor still holding him in place , the whole assembly was shocked including the man himself , " your Majesty,..., why,..., what are you doing", his voice trembling, the Queen looked down at the man , a wicked smile formed on her face , " you talk too much ,so....., I have to seize that condescending tongue of yours , don't you agree?", she said standing up from her throne , Eun Chen's dagger on her hand as she playfully twirled it on her hand , she bent down to the man who was mortified with fear , " yo,..., your Majesty ,no.....NO,...ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!", he struggled as one of the guards gapped his mouth open in the process breaking his jaw, the Queen smiled darkly holding onto that slime ball of a tongue , the sharp steel with the soft tissue of flesh contrasted , as she sliced through his tongue and agonizing cry of pain exuded from the inner depths of the mans throat, warm blood and slimy saliva mixed together as she cut through the tongue , all the council members looked away unable to do anything for fear that the exact same thing will be done to them.
The Queen threw the decapitated tongue on the floor as the official had already passed out , blood oozing out of his mouth endlessly , the Queen smiled as she stood up looking down at the council member , " anyone who utters any word of the dead Kings regime you will all end up like this man over here ", said the Queen coldly and authoratively as she turned and walked over to her throne , " then again I can't control your thoughts , so you will still criticize me in your minds so I intend to change your mind on my regime", she said dragging Eun Chen's dagger on her finger and slightly pricking her finger as it began to bleed , " I have captured Eun Chen the masked assasin ", the Queen announced, there was mummurimg as all the members looked at each other in disbelief , what was she saying , " what the King could not do when he was alive , I did it in one day , the masked assasin that have slained most of our warriors and the accomplice who had been hiding her away has been captured ", ...., this is proof that the assasin has been captured", saying that she threw the dagger on the floor, they all stared at the blood stained dagger that had been used to slain one of their members , " this is proof that she is with me and the accomplice is also with me , it shall be revealed who they are in four days and they shall be executed right Infront of you all , when that happens I want to be crowned the Queen of this country with no man in support untill Min yu wakes up", said the Queen , the mummurimg stopped for they all knew that for her to become a Queen independently she was to marry a man who was not interested in the royal duties but was from a noble family which was impossible or she could make a very huge contribution, the whole place was silent as they all knew that all she said made no sense , " since you are all quiet now, I guess we all agree", she said with a smirk on her face.

The moonlight was reflecting inside Lee Kwons cell , he had stayed still and had refused to eat anything since morning, he didn't have the appetite and they could poison him but at this point he didn't care , he was devastated, he didn't care that he was going to get killed all he thought about was his father , how did he die?, and why was tge Queen not saying anything about it, and most of all , where was Eun Chen, he had heard nothing from her like that was even possible, he desperately hoped that nothing had happened to her , if the heavens could hear him , whoever was there , he prayed desperately that Eun Chen should be safe and no bad thing should happen to her.

Eun Chen crouched in the dark corners of the isolated ground , her body still wounded but her gaze was on the lunar bracelet, she lifted her hand to the direction of the moonlight , indeed the energy of the moon gave her light and after a long day of pain and torture she finally broke into a smile , looking at the heavens she knew she had a lot of blood on her hands , she knew she had sinned and didn't deserve for anything to be granted for her but this night she pleased and for every night that comes that she is still unable to do anything , she pleads with the heavens that they should protect Lee Kwon , the last time she ever prayed like this was when she was locked inside that cupboard and saw her mom die Infront of her. Right now she hoped that the heavens will listen to her as she pleaded for someone she deeply cared about.
