Trevor fixed his gaze on the woman standing beside him. She appears darker than him and does not resemble him at all. He keeps staring at the woman, who appears to have lived her entire life on substance. She had numerous piercings on her face and tattoos all over her arms. Did the police officer just mention that she had a child? How would she handle it? He had witnessed and known kids who had a horrible upbringing due to their drug-addicted parents.
Tiffany looked a little embarrassed as she turned to face him. Although she could not help it, she had never wanted to meet her brother in this way. What if he despises her? Even though she is in a terrible state right now, she wanted him to like her. She knows that meeting him for the first time in such awkward circumstances would diminish his value to her, especially since he pays all of her bills and signs all of her paperwork to get her out of jail. If he
How would he feel about her daughter if he did not like her? She needed the money, but she never wanted to end up this way, for heaven's sake. She had nothing left after her mother's death except a large debt and the enormous house that one of her mother's many boyfriends had purchased for her while she was still living. If her mother had not mentioned in the will that the house belonged to a son she had never heard of—though she had heard her mother mention having a boy a few years prior, she did not specify whether or not he was still alive—she would have sold the house.
She chose to accept her friend's offer to deliver drugs because she had several debts to pay off and a property she could not sell because it was not hers. She was not a newbie to stuffs like this .she had bad friends since high school been talking drugs until she discovered she was pregnant and that change alot about her . She quit school and took on two jobs to support her daughter because she did not want to be a bad mother like her mother, who was too busy taking care of her daughter or granddaughter. She is here now because she was turned in by her best friend, who has since disappeared into the unknown. She was sorry because she did not want to become like her mother. She despised the woman too much to be like her.
Tiffany stared at her brother, feeling even more guilty as he smiled genuinely at her. Perhaps he has not heard of the rebellious adolescent who was a chronic drug addict and no stranger to the cell walls. Even though she is an adult, she still despises her life and the woman who created it for her.
She had no idea how it happened, but before she knew it, she had been granted bail and was on her way home with her brother to see her daughter. She has never felt happier. She promised herself never to get into this kind of trouble again.
There was tension throughout the drive home, and no words were exchanged, making Tiffany extremely uncomfortable. When they arrived home, Tiffany's daughter, Linda, ran towards her, accompanied by Miss Forest, Linda's nanny. Following a tense discussion between them. Tiffany led Trevor into the house.
"It is not in good condition, but it is yours now, so...you can make it better to your liking."
The house was enormous and very costly to maintain, as Trevor could see. Did his sister just claim the house was his? It reveals a lot about his late mother's financial situation.
"When you said that it was mine, what did you mean?"
"Mom had stated that you are the owner of the house and the bank account. "When you are ready to take ownership, please let me know so that I am not left stranded," she said as she began cleaning the kitchen, which was in a complete mess. Trevor looked at his sister. She does not resemble him, but she is a very attractive woman. While he is a white man, she appears to be mixed, and whoever her father was must have had a strong gene because she appeared much darker with long wavy hair. When he calmly went to see her, technically to bail her out, he was overjoyed because he now had a family. She seems distant, telling him that he now owns the house with complete indifference and even adding that he should notify her promptly when he wants to take full ownership so that she and her child can move in. He is aware of her rebellious past as a teenager because the police have told him enough about it, but he did not care because that was all in the past. No!!! He is not going to let his sister move out simply because he owns a house that he knows he cannot afford to keep.
"Look I know we barely know each other but you are my sister...
"Half sister"
"Well, it does not matter to me; I just want you to know that you are family and that I will not abandon you out of selfishness, okay? Regardless of what the will says, we will jointly own this house until you find a suitable place to stay. He said it with more emphasis on each word, and he had no idea his sister was crying because she had turned her back on him while cleaning the kitchen until he noticed her raising her hands to clean her face.
She sobbed, "I am sorry, I did not mean to be an asshole." Unsure of how to handle a woman who was crying, Trevor wanted to do everything in his power to soothe her.
"You were not a jerk."I know what it is like to feel out of place, but you are family.
" That's the first time someone has ever said that to me."
When she said that, Trevor began to wonder about the nature of their mother, what kind of relationship they had, and why she had left him an inheritance. Was she aware of his location? If so, what prevented her from searching for him?
The rest of the night went without a hitch. Linda had asked if he was her new father, but the young girl was overjoyed when Tiffany revealed that he was actually her uncle. Despite everything he had been told, he was expecting a very reserved woman, but she was not what he had anticipated! She was cheerful and wanted to know everything about him, including his romantic life. When he told her that he had a lot of work to do before thinking about dating, she started matching him with what she said were nice girls in the neighborhood. When he revealed that he had a woman living with him, she became curious and began asking him if he was in love with her and other things that surprised him. She also wanted to know her appearance and asked her brother to describe her. He had, as his sister closely observed his facial expression and every action.
Even though he was exhausted by the questions that were being thrown at him at the end of the night, he was content and joyful that he had a sister like her.
Despite her shyness about how he had described her, Niramol felt happy, joyful, and content as he watched them.
