"Ruid?" Althea called out in an unsure tone.
"Yes. Hello there, Ms Althea. So this is where you were. Everyone assumed that you had gone into deep slumber due to not having any interest in the war. I almost did the same. And honestly, I should have. Because I wouldn't have become like this if I did. Such terrible luck." To everyone's surprise, the owner of the voice not only acknowledged the name but turned out to be a chatterbox that wouldn't stop speaking.
"So what happened to you and how are you still... You?" Althea ended up cutting off Ruid as the Woodling Monarch just wouldn't stop speaking.
"Don't remind me. It was Ares, that bastard, and his friends. They ambushed me and used me as a decoy for the blight while they escaped," Ruid cursed in an angry voice.
It was understandable considering what it was saying happened.
"Ares again. It's always Ares," Althea spat in an annoyed voice. Muku and Layla were also annoyed.
