"Pfft... Hahahaha. Is this what our leader was talking about? Are they going to gang up on us and bath us to death with water balls?!" The arrogant young man laughed hysterically as he mocked their leader.
His serious expression had just been an act. He just wanted to make his joke funnier. And it worked. All ten people who were left laughed out loud with him.
A big grin appeared on his face after seeing that his plan had succeeded.
What no one knew was that he harboured ambitions of leading the group. All his actions up to that point had been for that goal.
And seeing how everyone was laughing with him and agreeing with him. He was sure that his plan was working. He just needed one more push and he'll become the leader.
He had nothing against their current leader. He just thought that the man was too soft. A leader shouldn't be soft, it leads to disrespect... At least that's what he thought.
