"Do you want me to give you some space?" Gabe looked onto Connor's house, his hands in his tracksuit bottoms pockets and fatigue evident on his face. He had a longer flight than me in our private jet.
"No, unless you want too," I shrugged, "Connor probably needs you more than me right now. I don't want to say something that will upset him."
"The easiest thing to do for us orphans is not to ignore it," he chuckled.
I nodded trying to find the right way to ask him about his own situation. "How come you've never told people you're adopted?"
