"I can't see a thing!" Ted popped up from the water after trying to search the lake which was deadly impossible! "It's pitch black down there."
"Edward is going to kill me!" David looked up to the sky with a hopeless cry. "I'm not billionaire rich! It must have cost millions."
That made me feel even more faint as I slumped back onto the boat. My stomach twisted in all kinds of knots as I felt tears well in my eyes. I had the ring for what? Three days and I had already lost it. This was a bad omen! Edward was going to be furious with me. I could hear it already, we had a fight because one of us misplaced his beer a month ago. We went an entire day not speaking to each other.
