Malia's neck craned back in awe as she looked up at Melanie. "You're tall," she gaped, "you're like Vasilisa tall. Why didn't I know you have a sister! Such a beautiful one in fact." She gave Melanie a hug, "It's nice to meet you, I'm Eli's mom. Sometimes Demyan's girlfriend if I feel like it."
"It's nice to meet you too," she smiled, "I'm a big fan of your ballet."
That always stroked Malia's ego as she beamed. "Thank you. Hopefully one day I'll be able to dance again."
Demyan must have noticed Malia had disappeared as he quickly walked out of the sunroom dressed in black jeans, a white button shirt and his hair down. Worry written all over his face as he searched for Malia before he relaxed when he saw her with us.
