"In fact I had dinner with her last night," Ted proudly gloated as he pressed his hand over his heart. "Just the two of us all alone."
"Rub-bish," I quickly intercepted as I stood between them. "You had dinner with me there and Edward so don't edge him on. And you," I pointed to Henry, "I didn't give any of you permission to go after my sister. Are you utterly mad? Are you letting a woman drive a wedge between you two? The fact it's my sister makes things worse."
Henry looked away with his lips pouted dramatically that he almost resembled a duck, "I don't think it's fair that you invited Ted over for dinner and not me. It's like you'd prefer him to be your brother in law over me."
"I wouldn't prefer any of you to be my brother in law if I'm honest," I scoffed. "Melanie didn't come here to find a boyfriend, especially you lot. Stop this. It's getting ridiculous now."
"Would you be willing to give me a chance then?" Isaac beamed. "You've always liked me more."
