3rd Person POV
"What do you think, George?" Mary asked, glancing at her husband sitting beside her. She noticed the frustration on his face—he was clearly exasperated with their eldest son.
After their conversation earlier, Georgie had gone back inside the house. He had opened up to them, speaking honestly about his relationship with Veronica.
Even if they tried to forbid it or asked Georgie to 'hold back' whenever he was around Veronica, they knew they couldn't watch him 24/7.
In the end, they settled on simply explaining the consequences and giving Georgie some guidance—even if, truthfully, he wasn't exactly a clueless kid or someone just barely stepping into adulthood.
George took a sip of his beer and sighed. "That rascal needs to control himself," he muttered, then turned to Mary with a serious look, "I don't want him raising a child when he's still a child himself." George added bluntly, though his words only earned him a smack on the arm from Mary.
"What are you even talking about?! That's not what I meant!" Mary snapped, clearly annoyed. "Well, yes, I do worry about that too—but I trust Georgie to act responsibly and think things through."
George chuckled. He understood what Mary meant; he was only trying to joke around, hoping to lighten the mood and avoid making things awkward again.
"I don't know, Mary," George said finally, looking at her with a helpless expression, "I honestly don't know what to do. Back in my day, if I got into a fight and came home, my father would beat the crap out of me," he said with a snort. "Believe me, I get how my dad must've felt."
Mary's lips twitched as she watched George shake his head. "Well, we're not going to beat Georgie," she said firmly. "Should we talk to a professional?"
George raised an eyebrow, thinking for a moment. "You mean like a psychiatrist or psychologist?" he asked slowly.
He wasn't exactly fond of the idea. In his mind, therapy was just two people sitting across from each other and talking—how could that possibly help?.
Mary nodded. "Yeah." she said seriously, locking eyes with him.
"What if Rosie does it?" George suggested, looking hopeful. That way, he could save money and pretend it was a company expense—as part of maintaining his artist.
Okay, mostly, he was just thinking about saving money.
Mary immediately shook her head. "No. I don't want anyone thinking Georgie is some lunatic or a battle junkie!" she replied flatly.
George groaned, rubbing his forehead. "Alright. We'll look for a cheap psychologist. Maybe we can find a coupon or something," he muttered, already calculating how much it was going to cost just to have his son talk to this so-called 'expert.'
Mary watched him with a helpless sigh. Even if Georgie was now a 'musician', they were still barely getting by.

3rd Person POV – While Georgie Talks with His Parents
On the other side of the house, in the Cooper family's living room, Missy and Sheldon were spending their evening in their own little world.
Missy was watching TV while Sheldon had his nose buried in a science book.
Both of them were unusually quiet, the only sound in the room coming from the television.
Sheldon, who typically loved silence, found it a bit unsettling tonight. His twin sister was acting strangely calm—and that was not normal. He liked routine and quiet, but he didn't enjoy unexplained changes.
"Why are you so quiet?" Sheldon asked, shifting his gaze from the book to Missy.
Still watching the TV, Missy replied, "I don't feel like talking to idiots."
Sheldon looked to his side and behind him, confused. "Are you referring to me? I doubt that. I have an IQ of 187, so I'm not an idiot."
"Whatever…" Missy muttered, clearly disinterested.
BAMMM!
The loud bang from George startled both of them. Missy turned toward Sheldon, who now had wide eyes.
"Do you think Mom and Dad are mad at Georgie?" Sheldon asked.
Mary and George had told them not to interrupt, no matter what happened. And while Missy had been curious about joining the conversation, their parents had firmly said no.
Missy glanced at Sheldon and saw the worry in his expression. "Why do you care? You're just a dummy." she said coldly.
That one stung a little. Sheldon turned to her, puzzled. "What are you talking about?" he asked, sounding mildly irritated.
Normally, he could brush off her insults. But this time, something in her tone made him pause. It wasn't the usual teasing—there was frustration, and even anger.
"You don't even know what you did wrong, do you? That's why you're an idiot." Missy said, her voice sharp.
"What? What did I do?" Sheldon asked defensively. "I didn't do anything wrong. Unlike you, I follow a strict schedule and rules."
"That's exactly why I called you stupid." she replied.
Sheldon went silent, giving up on trying to understand her.
Missy sighed and turned off the TV. "Alright, I'll help you out. Only because we're twins," she said, her tone full of fake superiority. Sheldon gave her a flat, unimpressed look.
"Did you notice anything strange during dinner?" Missy asked.
"No," Sheldon replied. "Well… I didn't expect Georgie to admit he planned to cheat on his math test. At least he confessed before actually doing it."
Missy stared at him, exasperated. "You idiot! Georgie would never do that!"
Sheldon blinked. "Why not? He said it himself. That's a confession for a crime he was about to commit."
Missy let out a frustrated breath and sank back into the couch. "I can't believe you just said that so casually. Do you think he's a criminal?"
"Well… he hasn't done it yet. And he admitted it before it happened. No, I don't think Georgie's a criminal." Sheldon said plainly.
Missy didn't reply. She just stared at him for a moment before standing up.
"I'm going to bed!" she muttered, walking off.
Sheldon looking at her before he shrugged and watched her go.
"Hey, what are you doing?" came Georgie's voice from beside him. Sheldon looked up to see his brother, still smiling.
"Nothing," Sheldon replied, glancing back down. "I don't think anything's wrong with him," he murmured.
"What?" Georgie said, catching the mumble. "Were you eavesdropping on us? I didn't know you were such a naughty little rascal, Shelly!" he teased, ruffling Sheldon's hair.
"What? No!" Sheldon swatted Georgie's hand away.
Georgie laughed. "Alright, let's get some sleep. We've got school tomorrow!" he said, walking off.
Sheldon watched his brother's back as he left.
He still didn't think anything was wrong with Georgie, and if something was wrong… it probably wasn't his fault.
"Brother," Sheldon called out.
Georgie turned around. "Yeah?"
"Did I do something wrong?" Sheldon asked quietly.
Georgie gave him a small smile.
"No."

3rd POV
For some people, high school is the most exciting time of their lives — a place where you start to figure out who you are and who you want to become. It's even more fun if you happen to be popular.
The king of the football team, the star of the basketball court, or just someone with a handsome face — they walk the halls like royalty.
That's exactly how Georgie and Sheldon felt right now.
"Hey, Georgie! Hey, Sheldon!"
"Awesome gig, Georgie! I saw it!"
"Yo, Georgie!"
Students greeted Georgie as he made his way down the hallway. Some had seen him perform live, others had only heard the rumors and gossip spreading like wildfire through the school.
"I don't like this…." Sheldon muttered as he tried to dodge the crowd. A few students attempted to approach him, likely hoping to get closer to Georgie, which Sheldon obviously wanted no part of.
Georgie nodded to a few familiar faces and waved at those he didn't recognize. "They're not gonna do anything to you, Shelly." Georgie said, walking beside his little brother.
"They keep trying to touch me!" Sheldon snapped, side-stepping another reaching hand. "You saw that, right?!"
Georgie chuckled and gave Sheldon's shoulder a reassuring pat. "Relax, they just wanna be your friend… so they can get closer to me." he said, completely shameless.
"Oh, well, alright then." Sheldon replied with a small nod and avoiding another hand that trying to touch him.
Under normal circumstances, Sheldon would've been a prime target for bullying in a place like this. But with Georgie by his side — and Georgie's status being what it was — no one dared lay a finger on him.
"Hey, Georgie! Sheldon!"
A familiar voice called from behind them. Georgie recognized it immediately and sighed under his breath.
"Jana…" he said reluctantly.
"Hello," Sheldon greeted her. As long as she didn't try to touch him and stayed polite, Sheldon saw no reason not to return the courtesy.
Jana smiled sweetly at Sheldon before turning her attention back to Georgie.
"You sound tired. Are you sick?" she asked, reaching out to touch his forehead.
Georgie gently took her wrist and lowered her hand. "Girl, stop it," he said, glancing around warily.
"Why? I'm just worried about you." she replied with an innocent smile.
Before Georgie could respond, another voice rang out sharply behind him.
"Back off, bitch!" Veronica snapped, shoving Jana away from Georgie.
Sheldon, watching the situation unfold, looked over at Georgie, who gave him a tired smile and a small nod.
Taking that as his cue, Sheldon quietly slipped away toward class — no way was he sticking around for whatever drama was about to go down.
Jana looked at Veronica with a smirk. "Oh, your slut is here," she sneered, then turned her gaze back to Georgie, "So, when's your next gig?"
Georgie sighed, stepped behind Veronica, and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"I don't know." he replied calmly, resting his head against her neck — a clear signal that he wasn't playing games with her and had made his choice.
Veronica glanced back at him and leaned into the embrace, letting him hold her tight. His breath tickled her neck, and she shivered as he kissed her skin — intimate and unbothered by the crowd around them.
Gasps echoed through the hallway. Students, including Jana, were visibly stunned. No one expected Georgie to be so publicly affectionate with Veronica like this. In the middle of the Hallway like this!.
Despite the attention, Veronica didn't push him away. Instead, she smirked at Jana, who looked like she was about to explode, "Back off, bitch. He's mine!" she said, gripping Georgie's hands at her waist.
Jana clenched her jaw, glaring daggers at Veronica. Without saying another word, she scoffed, turned, and stormed off.
A few lingering students stared at the couple, silently wondering, "…Are we just background characters now?"
But no one interrupted them.
Georgie let go of Veronica and gently turned her around to face him. Without a word, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
He kissed her back, his hands resting on her waist.
"Let's go…" Georgie murmured as he pulled away. He didn't spare a glance at anyone else. Veronica had all of his attention now.
She beamed. What he had just done, especially in front of Jana, made her feel invincible.
"I love you."
Georgie smiled at her, his heart full. "I love you too," he whispered and kissed her lips softly.
Veronica blushed and stared into his eyes. "Alright…" she said, finally remembering they weren't alone. She glanced around at the students still watching.
"So… are we still studying together tonight?" she asked, trying to focus on Georgie and not the onlookers.
"Yeah, I'll ride with you to my place later," Georgie replied.
After the situation calm down a bit, "Hey, Georgie! When's your next gig?" a student shouted from behind.
Soon, others chimed in, asking about his band and music.
This was America — a place where people were free to express their love. While Georgie and Veronica's public display of affection was bold, it wasn't unheard of. And in the end, the crowd quickly moved on.
"Hmm, since we have a concert coming up, I might cut back on gigs so we can rehearse more." Georgie explained.
"A concert? What concert?" someone asked.
"The George S. Concert!" Veronica grinned, clinging tightly to his arm. She shot a glare at the girls ogling her boyfriend like he was still single!.
Her words made the hallway fall into stunned silence. "Wh-what?" one voice finally broke through, followed by a wave of gasps and disbelief.
Georgie sighed and started explaining the details of the concert, encouraging everyone to come with their families to support him.
Even though he hadn't officially released any songs or albums yet, many students had already heard his music at the local bars, and gossip had been spreading fast — both good and bad.
But Georgie didn't care about the rumors. As long as people were talking about him, that was enough. He couldn't control what others said — only how he responded.
"Make sure y'all come see the show, alright?" Georgie called as he turned away.
"Of course!"
"No problem!"
"I want a backstage pass!"
Georgie didn't respond. He just walked away with Veronica by his side.
He leaned over to kiss her on the cheek, "Hmm…" Veronica pouted, clearly wanting more. But then—
Ahem.
"Alright, Miss Duncan, get to your own class!" Miss Ingram snapped, glaring at them.
Veronica's face turned bright red. She smacked Georgie's arm before hurrying off.
"Ow, why am I the one getting hit?" Georgie muttered, sighing as he headed into his classroom.
