She slowly took a deep breath, and everyone present could clearly see her chest rise and fall slightly, as though even speaking of this ancient matter filled her with a faint sense of apprehension.
However, that hesitation lasted for only a moment, and a gleam of determination soon flashed through her pale-blue eyes, as though she had finally made an important decision.
Her pale-blue eyes unconsciously widened before she finally continued in a solemn voice,
"The vague records passed down through countless generations mention only a short yet terrifying detail."
"The detail hid an unimaginable yet terrifying secret.
And it was the revelation that that massive and incomparably powerful empire fell within an unimaginably short period of time, possibly not exceeding a single day."
She paused once again before uttering the words that sent chills down everyone's spines.
"And it wasn't merely conquered.
Instead, it was completely destroyed.
