The scars that crossed his face and jawline spoke clearly of many battles fought in the past, marking him as a seasoned and experienced warrior.
His sharp eyes moved constantly, watching the icy cliffs and snow-covered ridges around them for any hidden threat.
The final member of the group was another young woman, who walked quietly beside the noble maiden, maintaining a respectful distance while keeping pace with her leader.
Unlike the others, however, her gaze occasionally shifted toward the enthusiastic young man with barely concealed disdain.
To her, his exaggerated behaviour was clearly tiresome.
As for the noble young lady herself, she simply responded to the young man's declaration with a faint smile.
The small gesture caused the young man's face to brighten immediately.
He smiled broadly while being clearly convinced that the noble young princess admired his courage and appreciated his loyalty.
