Third Person's POV
Beating his wings, Ethan rose slightly higher into the air before gathering the strength of his entire body.
He drew his arm back, aligning the spear with the serpent's head as the enormous creature finally regained its footing and lunged toward him once again.
Ethan hurled the spear with all his strength.
A sharp, keening sound tore through the air as the projectile shot forward.
Unlike an ordinary ice spear, it rotated rapidly around its axis as it flew, carrying a tangible twisting force that seemed to distort the space along its trajectory.
The distance between the spear and the serpent vanished in an instant.
The spear struck the creature's head with terrifying precision, piercing through its densely packed red eyes and shredding them into mangled flesh.
The twisting force continued tearing through the surrounding tissue, grinding its way deeper into the serpent's skull.
