Elder John left the meeting hall after the meeting ended. He decided to leave for his trip in a couple of days. He had some reports to submit first.
He didn't trust the other elders. He always suspected they would use their connections to bring in people they knew, instead of giving opportunities to truly talented Beast Tamers.
He shook his head. He knew he couldn't control everything.
He could only take action regarding things under his control. He would try to find as many talented Beast Tamers as possible.
Some of them could have missed the opportunity, or they could be hiding their talent for some reason.
He was going to find the neglected places and look for talent there. For example, the Human Settlements. No one had paid attention to the human settlements before.
