Ron Night and Petra's father exchanged a glance. Petra's father couldn't conceal his shock.

Jeremy nodded in response. The three of them left the area and rejoined the group a few minutes later.
Ron Night remained mostly silent. He should have warned the others, but the shock of his son's actions was overwhelming. He was still processing it.
Petra's father was equally stunned. He looked at his daughter, wanting to say something. Finally, he told her to return home safely.
Ron Night then composed himself and instructed his son to stay safe. Afterward, he left with Petra's father.

Most eyes were fixed on Jeremy Night. The two City Governors hadn't mentioned anything about the worm beasts before departing.
