Leonora was quiet, despite the urging of her friends. She made it clear to them that she didn't want to leave anyone behind.
Her attitude pissed off the others. They were already scared, and now she was making them even angrier.
"I'm leaving. Let her die if she wishes," the male beast tamer said before he resumed walking forward.
Swoosh!
Seeing that, the other friends left one after another. Finally, her female friends also started walking away. Leonora was speechless.
She couldn't believe her team had decided to leave without her. She had thought a little convincing would work, but she was wrong.
The other members were terrified to the core. All of them combined, along with their lifeline beasts, had failed to defeat the already injured Tier-7 Centipede Beast.
It was demotivating for them, and they were not out of danger yet. She understood the mood of her friends; they were scared of death.
