The look in Celeste's gaze was one that I couldn't quite shake. This one wasn't like the usual look of jealousy that she always had in her blue eyes when she stared at me. This one was laced with a curious and almost pitying look but then there was also something sharper and it was one I recognized.

I assessed Celeste slowly, she must be up to one of her antics again. "I'm not sure what is that you are getting at but what I'm sure of is that I definitely want to marry Reagan."
"Even if those secrets changes the way you see about him and threaten everything you've built?"
Ivana decided to speak up at that moment. "Okay I think we've all had enough of this."
"Actually Celeste_" I spoke up and walked closer to her, "Everyone has secrets I'm sure but it's what we choose to do with them that defines us and if Reagan doesn't feel comfortable sharing it with me yet, then it must be for good reason."
