"We want 100 sacks of wheat and rice," the Red Mankey general eventually said. "And in return, we'll give you 10 stacks of bioluminescent moss and mushrooms."
Of course, the general knew that the human leader wouldn't accept such an unfair deal so easily. This was just a negotiation tactic. He would want to leverage it to at least 10 stacks of wheat, at least.
"Okay," Michael said.
The Red Mankey general's words were caught in his mouth. He was so ready to do a whole scene about unfairness if Michael was going to refuse.
However, he didn't even try to negotiate! The human boy simply agreed as if it was a very simple matter.
"... and we want 500 barrels of clean, drinking water," the general said, gaining a bit more confidence.
"Sure," Michael replied again without hesitation.
Hearing this, the general and the other Red Mankeys watching from afar couldn't believe their ears. Were the humans really going to give them those resources basically for free?
