It was so preposterous that the demi-humans simply didn't want to believe that that humongous structure was truly the humans' camp.
Were they being thought of as fools? It seemed that they were.
No good general would ever want to build such a gigantic structure in a foreign land. First of all, it was already established that the Red Mankeys excelled in guerilla tactics, hiding in the shadows, attacking in a burst, before quickly receding back into the shadows.
So, it was only natural that their large, overbearing camp would be subject to that kind of war! They were basically begging to be attacked by creating such an eye-catching structure.
The Red Mankey general thought he was outsmarting the humans. But as it turned out, they were a lot dumber than he originally thought!
